Two EdenClubs finding common ground and getting together to chat? What?!
So as you know, if you're a Flicks member, Flicks gets together every month to discuss movies from all over the spectrum, from Jurassic Park, to Cassablanca, to Edward Scissorhands. Anyone's welcome. The only requirement is a love for movies!
And all of us here know EdenKink is a place for anyone interested in learning about fetishes and BDSM to meet and chat. There are no restrictions (aside from age ... 18+ please). You don't even have to be kinky! Our goal is to give everyone interested a safe place to meet and discuss what really goes on behind the closed doors of kinksters.
And we're getting together! Tuesday, January 17th, 2012 at 8pm ET (Happy New Year, y'all!) we're meeting in the EdenFlicks section to talk about a movie that's very near and dear to me: Secretary.
We've got a couple warnings to go along with this movie.
1) It's an adult film. Please usher any little eyes off to safer places (like, say, dreamland) while viewing this flick.
2) The movie depicts the development of a consensual sadomasochistic relationship between a lawyer and his secretary.
3) Some of the scenes in this film may be triggering for various groups of people. For example, there are some scenes that seem nonconsensual without context, and one of the characters is a cutter.
Feel free to attend this meeting before watching the movie to understand the ins and outs of the storyline and make the decision to watch (or not) based on our discussion.
I'd love for those of you attending to come ready and willing to answer questions nonkinksters might have, but it's not required. Do whatever makes you the most comfortable! And of course, feel free to ask any questions you might have yourself!
