Roleplay is putting on another persona, in my opinion. It's when you actually act out a certain personality or persona, become that persona for the moment, then go back into your actual self once acting as that person has served its purpose.

Wearing things to simply enhance appearance or look cute or silly is simply that - just dressing up in certain clothing. It's like when a person wears a full tux as opposed to wearing jeans and a t-shirt. No, It's not something a person might wear every day, but it's not roleplaying either.

Let me add on to that, pet play is not roleplay for most. For most, it's truly who they are, they just don't show it always. Roleplay is when it REALLY isn't who you are, you're just playing around and having fun wearing a new face.

For us, costumes are usually just about looking sexy. Who does't look sexy in a short plaid skirt and tight white top? Even cismen can pull it off! Lol.

Some, though, use it to further their roleplay as teacher and student, or doctor and nurse, or something. Sometimes there's a distinct dynamic between the two. I have friends who enjoy turning the stereotypical dynamics on their heads though.

HAHAH that is like how we hooked up. I got a concussion at school and he was the only one who would wake me up every 2 hours to see if I was ok like the doctor ordered. And he kept asking me superhero questions instead of my name and age and stuff. it was really cute.

Yep. They do. I've also had people tell me I can't be Canadian because I have nice teeth, and I've actually had people say that Canada is actually a US state. Seriously.

That is funny. I once was getting a new Id and they thought New mexico was in a different country and asked if I needed a passport. People are so dumb.

Ive dressed like a sailor. And a playboy bunny. More for just being sexy. I want more costumes though.

I've dressed up for my partner in lingerie, and sometimes as a kitty. Mostly I'm nude for my Mistress. She tends to like me that way unless the kids are home. I love to role play for Her. I do not dress up for others, really. If I dress up, it's because I enjoy looking good. I love having people dress up for me, though!

Usually but apparently somebody somewhere said that we don't put fluoride in our water so our teeth rot. Which, we do. It's just been the last month that some cities are opting out of it. Basically just people making things up that they have no idea about
