I find that the best way, mostly cheaper too. I also like to make jerky.

The last real order of business I have for tonight is contests. Splendwhore had a great idea of including contests to get motivated. Here’s what we’re going to do. Give me your ideas and we’re going to have a poll vote for which contest you think would work best for this community. The winner’s idea will win a $25 EF Gift Card! There will, of course, be a prize for the winner of the actual contest too. Details on that to come with the reveal of the contest idea winner!

The third contest idea gets a $25 GC as well!

I have a dehydrator. I haven't done the roll-ups yet, although I have made jerky.

I do venison, because it's available. If you season it enough, turkey does remarkably well too. Beef could work (I don't eat it, personally), but you'd have to choose a cut that is really low in fat.
