Inspirational or insanely vain?

The new Playgirl centerfold, Stephen Pinto battled the buldge and won, BIG TIME. Fleshbot (NSFW) featured him and some of his eye opening photos. What do you think of it all?

It would help if he had a more navigation-friendly website. Otherwise, it sounds like he's still suffering from poor self-esteem by plastering "I DID IT I DID IT I DID IT" all over the place and making a big deal over a private accomplishment.

No, does nothing for me. I'll continue with my OA meetings.

I'm conflicted. I like the whole "look at how drastically someone can change if they really want to" idea, but if he's doing this himself I find it a bit vain...

That should of course read "bulge" above. I really wish EF would give us the ability to edit posts.

I think it's great that someone who worked to overcome a weight issue has come this far and talks about it, however there is still residual insecurities and some bragging. If I did this, though I would brag too!!

Anyone who has battled the bulge does deserve a little ego inflation. But that's just my opinion!

I'm impressed...

I wouldn't have said he was that unattractive to start but it's cool that he's a walking example of what a person can do with focused living. Props to him!

I'm with WomanChina on that--anyone who has crafted himself after years of ambivalence deserves a self-congratulatory pat on the back.

It just goes to show that being overweight isn't the end of the world and really one can go from "fat to fit" if they had the will to do so. Skinny to ripped is much harder imo D:

It's generally vain to go around and lord yourself, no matter how inspirational it is. Doesn't mean you can't go do it anyways, though.
