It is sad when things like that are bulldozed.

Maybe it could be a tenderizer?

OMG I need this! I love that you took it outside, makes it seem more daring. I would have maybe pulled you hand a little more out of the picture so it wasnt as centered but it is still good.

Yes, but not by me---by a sculptor in (I think Texas?) somewhere in the US, anyway. Here's my review of it---it's amazing.

Remember, you can submit photos for critiquing above and beyond the one you can post during these meetings at our Eden

Photographers tumblr site
. Please feel free to visit the site if you want to critique more photos than the ones posted during these meetings as well.

Remember, any time you critique a photo, either formally or informally, it can help you as a photographer. Get into the habit of looking at photos and see what you can take away from each of them. It will make you a better photographer.

Should you require further direction on how to submit the photos and critique photos, check out the critiquingarticle on the Eden

Clubs and Events blog
.

That is so cool. We have a hanging tree by the old jail here that is over 100 yrs old...small town. I need to get over there and spend some time taking pictures. Its only a couple of blocks away and supposed to be haunted...I don't know why I haven't done it yet.

do as i do... show up for the show, drink the free wine, and disappear as soon as you see a few friendly faces you've been missing. skip out and go somewhere else. your art will still be there. it speaks for itself. the rest is just flippity bullshit sometimes. esp. if you've been drinking wine.

Hahahah I know! Or I need a potion so I can be like Dr Jekkel Mr Hyde. Ive had so many offers that Ive turned down for art related things, selling and shows--everyone always tells me Im crazy. I just cant do it, I start getting really panicky thinking of it and need to take my meds.

I can do stuff its commissioned though and not have a problem with letting go of it. But when its something I did on my spare time with no purpose, I freak out.

I feel like you alllll the time. Only for art I can only imagine it being *more* personal. Keep calm, I'm sure we'll thicken up our skins if we keep practicing.

I need a new holga. I let someone borrow it for "the weekend" And they took off with it and moved. And they took my fish eye, and my colorflash lens. I seriously cried.
