Hey Vac, got your candy G-string and bra? I thought I would bring it up seeing as how we will need pictures and all.
If someone wants to see me wear that, they'll need to buy it for me.

OK, here we go...

Welcome to the inaugural Eden Photographers Club meeting! I hope this meeting, and the club as a whole, will serve to stoke your interest in photography and spur you try new things with your photographs. Considering today is the first meeting, I won’t focus on photography as much as I will in future meetings, but if you have any photography-related topics to bring up, please do not hesitate to do so. By the way, I’m a hunter-and-pecker, so I apologize in advance for any grammatical errors or slow posting tonight

Um. I'm pretty sure that can be arranged.

At this point, I imagine most of you have read my welcome post in the Eden Photographers subforum, so you know a little about me and my photography background. However, I know very little about the photography background, interests, and aspirations that all of you have. So, if you would be so kind, would you please share with everyone what you like to do with your photography now and where you’d like to see it go in the future. Not only will this help me structure these meetings and order the weekly articles, but you might find that you have a lot in common, photography-speaking, with some of your fellow EFers.

Ditto with the Lovin' Lamb, I might add.

I've been interested in photography for a very long time, dabbling here and there with it. It apparently runs in the family because my mom has shown me some of the pictures that she had taken when she was younger, and I had to do a double take because I've taken pictures that look exactly the same.

I took a few photography classes in high school, and a few years ago bought myself a nicer digital that I don't use anywhere near as often as I should.

I seem to have a penchant for the "awesome random pictures" that just for whatever reason come out awesome and I have no idea how.

Hiiiii everyone. I'm DeliciousSurprise and I'm a photographer. I've been doing photography for about seven years now and I've had the honour of several NYC exhibits, as well as inclusion in the MoMA's Grunge to Grace collection.

I'm just trying to find my flow again after a long absence from photography.

The photo classes show in the work you've already posted.

Awesome random pictures are actually some of my best ones.

I deliberately put that in there (five minutes ago) specifically for Delicious Surprise. I wasn't expecting that from you

I have been a serious amateur photographer with a manual film camera since high school. I really got into developing my own film and images, and kind of hate the lack of that hands-on touch in digital photography. But I've only got a rather basic digital camera to work with, and don't have much (any) experience with all the digital photo software.

I look forward to learning tons and seeing all of the wonderful images that others have been taking!

Aww thanks

Actually one of my favorites that I took was after I had been driving about 20 hours and the sun was coming up behind me and I got a shot of it in the drivers side mirror of my '83 Cadillac. My husband was dating somebody else at the time, but since I had bought the car off of him, I showed him and he wanted a larger version of it. We now have it framed as a 30x40

I take pictures more for fun than anything. I got into photography for awhile back in school, but forgot most of what I learned. I also do not have a good camera anymore. I have a $150 digital, it does have a few "settings" but I only no a little about them.

I get by pretty good, but would like to re-learn some.

I'll be covering the software eventually. First we'll need to focus on other things first.

I'll be happy to answer questions on it before I get to it in my articles, though.

It's amazing the quality of photos you can get from a "cheap" digital camera nowadays. There are even $300 ones out there that can get professional quality photos

I think it's better to have a 'cheap' camera that you can take everywhere than a pricey one you have to leave home because it's too inconveniencing!

I have always been interested in photography I think its beautiful how a picture or painting can capture you. In college I did take one class. I think it was intro to photography. With a manual camera, I liked being in the dark room. Unfortunately I my mom gave the camera away. I have a cheap digital point and shoot camera but hope in the future to get a better one and start taking pics again.

Agreed, my wife has a $250 digital camcorder that takes some great pic's. I love the 60X zoom it has.
