That's a fair point. Perhaps the way to go (assuming birthstones is what is selected) is to make the color theme central, but challenge everyone to incorporate a birthstone's theme if they can. That would make it simpler for those who need that and enough complexity for those who want/need the challenge.

Sorry, my point wasn't that you couldn't do it this year, but that assigning 4 photos a month would be a difficult task for some. The way my creativity works, it sometimes takes me a few weeks just to develop an idea, forget about implementing it. As you suggest, I think releasing all 12 at once would be preferable.

OK, that’s all I had to discuss tonight. Does anyone else have anything that you would like to bring up about the calendar? I’ll address any question to the best of my abilities, but I’m not yet privy to all the details about how the calendar will be published. I will bring all your questions and comments to Gary, though…..so ask away!

Is this going to be a hard copy calendar or a downloadable file that we have printed ourselves?

It will be a hard copy. Exactly how it will be distributed is something I don't know the answer to yet.

Unfortunately, I'm not privy to all the details yet, but I wanted to get the ball rolling on this as soon as possible so that we could indeed get it done by the end of the year.

I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but it's something I thought of that might be a bit easier than the birthstone idea, but would still have a theme (sort of) to please the higher ups.

The Eden Fantasys Calendar: Au Naturel

And the theme would be photographs of things that occur in nature, untouched by mankind.

The title would be fun, because although it literally means "in a natural state", it has come to mean nude, and since EF is a sex toy site, well... Also, the name "Eden" is associated with a "natural" paradise, so it would work in that sense as well.

In looking through the pictures that people have already taken and posted on EF, there are many shots of natural subjects, wildflowers, insects, wild animals, forests, waterfalls, streams, snow covered hills, rainbows, etc... So we know that that the Eden photographers have access to natural subjects to photograph and may already have pictures that can be used. Even those who live in big cities could probably find a park or vacant lot where there is something natural to photograph: the sunlight through leaves or even just the clouds in the sky.

Anyway, it's just an idea that popped into my head, and I thought that I would share it.
