I started gathering some information about the many programs eden has for us bloggers. There is so much to cover I had to take a break. here is the link to what I have posted thus far

I would love any suggestions on what else to cover. I'm not sure how detailed to get. I also plan on covering widgets, social sharing, and the review program.

I was wonder if you could make a blog post about the HTML coding for affiliate links? Like a 101 with step by step pictures.

I do basic coding for my website (like changing the looks mostly). I have tried to put affiliate links in before but it usually fails.

Somehow I do not copy the entire code or something. When I go back in to find my mistake I can not find the beginning of the code threw the sea of other coding.

when u say code, do u mean the the code for widgets? or text links? and could u give me an example of the types of changes you like to make?

as far as finding specific code in the html for the post, that's easy enough, i'll work on this tomorrwo

The codes for the flash based scrolling item widgets.

I like to keep the web page split up into three different window panels. A top header panel, a left side navigation panel, and the third to be the active panel where information is displayed.

When using a code for a scrolling item widget, it looks broken up into two pieces when placed in the active panel.

is this in reference to tumblr? or do u have a different blog? if so which platform? i only ask because i'm not that familiar with tumblr. i have blogger. either way i'll do my best

Your post was very informative, I'd love to be an affiliate but I don't have a blog-I have long considered starting one but I don't have the time and I know blogging is alot of work! (I'm also very computer illiterate lol), What can I do as a non-blogger to have fun and get some benefits, I would really enjoy doing reviews-I just don't have the budget to buy everything I'd want to review (although you wouldn't know it-my wishlist is so skimpy, I always forget to add something when I see it-ugh 38 yrs old & memory loss already and whining about my 'can't do's' lol) Ok I'm rambling again-sorry Storm

there is an offline affiliate program, i will post about tomorrow,. that's an easy one, and u dont' need to be computer savvy for it. the review program will provide u with free products to review after you are approved. i'll write up some basics on getting started.

so u can still do both of those. thank u for the ideas! im glad i can be of help.

I just got started on my blog, I'm currently putting up a review I wrote already, and planning my next one. Maybe talk about how to link reviews on Eden to your blog? Like should it mainly be on the blog, or suggestions on ways to still have a good review on Eden, but still have info that would make people want to check out the blog?

Pretty sure you covered everything there. If you wanted to go really deep with it, I suppose you could take the other commenter's advice, but it was easy to follow for me and I've never even done an EF blog host thingy before! It was simple, to the point and very informative. Loved the bullet point list. That made it really easy! I personally thought it was great. A little hard on the eyes, all that purple, but I love purple

i can see how the purple background could be hard on the eyes. i'll try some changes.

hoping we can all put the word out on this one, i'm not the best person for the off vs onsite reviews option. it would be great to hear from someone who has done alot of both and to see which got them better results. how the reviews were rated, how many votes, etc.

to see what drives more traffic and gets a better response.

yes widgets are biggie! i'll write up something on adding products to desktop, creating widgets, and placing them on blog.

then expand to customizing the widgets.

im not sure when the nexxt post will be up. im having a shit week, which means im either gonna go mia for a few days, or end up working non-stop, lol

well not sure if this would be the right place to post this if not i am sorry but...
