Do you enjoy writing the off-site reviews more than on-site? I think I usually like my off-site reviews more since I don't have to worry about character limits. But then I have to provide pictures for the reviews too, so it's a fine line.

I kind of eased into it. I started writing, then posting it on myspace. At first infrequently the regular, then I set up my own blog space.

With most hosts, you'd never surpass the amount of space they allow you, even with their cheaper plans.

Oh MySpace. I think they've given up in the "world" for social networking. I remember when it was popular though.

I like your blog space. I remember reading it on a couple occasions, and I like seeing when you post on the EdenBloggers thread too.

Thanks for posting this. I agree about getting revenue before paying to have your own site. I might be crawling soon.

Kinky World is about to surpass my plan. However, almost every host allows you to upgrade your space mid-plan (and pay the difference), so just buy the minimum plan for now, and upgrade later if you need it.

I've been blogging for about 5 years now. Just personal blogs on various sites. I've always loved to write then one day I came across a video review on youtube which had an EF intro...so I followed the links and here I am!

I've always been interested in sexuality, reading erotica, and just all things sex.....I just didn't realize there was a whole sex blogosphere right under my nose.

The funny thing is that I prefer writing reviews for Eden, on Eden. I don't really run into any problem with character limits and I end up including pictures half the time anyway, lol.

I do enjoy writing reviews for other things on the blog, I've just been slacking for the last month or so and need to find the time to catch up on things here, and then get back to writing there too.

It's been awesome to hear about everyone's experiences choosing a host! I'm sure I could come up with a range of options for meeting topics monthly, but I'd love to know what types of topics are on your your mind. What topics would you like to see the EdenBloggers meetings cover? Any other suggestions for the club? I want this to focus around you - the bloggers (or soon-to-be bloggers)!

So with the wordpress pornography rules....

It the line somewhere like it's OK to have a sex toy review blog, but not OK to have an erotica blog?

I've also just started to get into ghost-blogging and paid blogging for other sites, which is a whole new world!

I don't like the complexity of wordpress. I think blogger gives you many more options to make it more of your own and to mess around with the html of your site.

I'm interested in tips to help get the blog seen without having to spend as much time promoting the blog as I do blogging.

I know, right? I first started sex blogging, and then I've slowly realized there's a LOT more sex blogs than I had realized!

Okay, so I probably shouldn't have said Never But it would take a while of blogging every day, posted a few photos with every post, to surpass it. I've never come close to meeting the space limits when I've had them.

Wordpress doesn't publish their "what's okay" line. They just say they have the right to remove any "objectable" content without letting you know. So anything adult can be removed; sex toy reviews or erotica. It's okay to blog there, but back-up your posts on a weekly basis - just in case.

I would like understand CSS better. I sort of lump all code related to blogging into the CSS category. It is possible there are other languages too.

We should have a discussion about blog prompts and what we could use to get our minds working to provide more reading material for our readers.

Yeah. That's what I do. K-W has over 600 posts (in a year!) with an average of 3/4 photos per post. It tends to eat space.

I think these are already in the works, but I'm most concerned with finding more things to talk about than just reviews, getting affiliate commissions (I have yet to make a dime!), and getting more visitors.

I'm curious if most people have ad or affiliate links on their site and how did they decide what and/or who to go with for advertising. I don't do ads on the site I am paying most attention to now but thinking of doing something ... if only to support my sex toy habit.
