Do you think that it would be possible to do a tutorial for technologically incompetent people who still want to become bloggers? A lot of this was helpful, but most of it went whooshing right over my head

Is there a way to maybe host your photos on say FlickR and link them in your posts that way? Would that save on hosting space?

Well, as I mentioned early on, I would really like to try and organize a comment-hop. I know we already have a blogroll thread.... a comment hop is a similar idea, with the gist that the bloggers who submit a post will get comments or track-backs on the specific post (with the purpose of driving traffic), with the assumption that they will then comment on the other posts available.

This could also involve Facebook or Twitter sharing, etc....

It would also be nice to organize some kind of link exchange program.

There are a ton of topics we could cover - SEO, revenue streams, design concepts, advertising options, hosting and domains, legal issues surrounding adult sites....

I have always been lucky in that department. This February will make 9 years that I have worked part time in a porn store in Philly. There is ALWAYS something to write about.

PHP would be the other most applicable to Wordpress. HTML is always handy as well.

Of course, of course. Let me know what, exactly, you had in mind. "Technologically Incomptent Blogging Tutorial" would take days to read and weeks to make. What is the confusing part for you? We'll focus on explaining that more.

Yep. That would save on hosting space. Pain in my butt, so I don't do it, but it would save on space. Be careful about choosing your photo host though. Some (like Photobucket) don't allow adult pictures. Read their TOS carefully.

Hehe... so they're operating under the "I don't know how to define pornography, but I know it when I see it," stance. ;p

Some guy pulled his pants down to his ankles and was laying face down on the scummy floor within 90 seconds of entering the store last weekend. Always an adventure!

More like "I don't know how to define pornography, but I know it when someone else comes complaining about it."

I highly doubt anyone there goes around monitoring the sites, but if someone sees something they don't like and complain, they will probably take it down no questions asked.

Yes, I've had photobucket delete my photos. heh. But I know EF has a FlickR account so at least sex toy photos could be hosted on there without getting deleted.

It might be something I may look into considering I am starting up with a few other companies with will require photo uploads.

Of course, I have no idea the giffs of how much space 1500MB is..lol
