What? By the time I want to save something, it means I'm in a hurry to go somewhere else or tired of the computer. So I don't really take the brainpower to think about naming things. It's a horrible habit.

That all sounds awesome. I can't do anything like that. I have a horrible habit of naming files non-descript things, so currently, there's a meow.txt, meow2.txt, and grawr.txt file on my desktop. Ugh.
I have a rawr.txt, mrowr.txt and kitty!.txt *grin* Am glad I'm not alone!

Thanks..I agree. We sat and talked for hours about the way that people judge people that they dont know. She isnt sexually active yet but when she is she knows now that I will support her 100% and I think that a lot of people feel like they are alone on these things.

Blogger’s Block is more common than you might think. Staring at a blank screen can be scary; especially if you have a deadline (whether that be self-imposed or not). Sometimes the best thing to do when the screen isn’t filling up is to walk away and do something else. But what else can you do to try to inspire yourself to write?

* Change your environment. For some of us, whose sites are not blocked by public wifi filters, we can go to any wifi hot spot and work. Getting out to a coffee shop or other location can help inspire writing that you never knew you had in you.

* Comment on forums. This can be a gold mine of content if you view it that way. Can you build on your short response to someone else and make it a blog post? Most of the time I bet you could.

* Expand your niche. If you’ve been writing about a particular thing for awhile, maybe it’s time to spread the scope a bit. A topic that is too narrow most definitely leads to too many white screen moments.

* Start a new blog. Some blogs die. There’s not always a reason. It doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Start something new, change your topic, broaden your scope and move ahead with a new viewpoint on the world.

What else can you do to jumpstart your inspiration?

I highly recommend a teenager-appropriate sex-ed book. I know those sex-ed books is where I got all of my sex information that I was too embarrassed to ask my parents. Then again, I'm a huge reader too.

That's really great of you to do. I have a lot of friends that still get grief from their parents for their sexual orientation, and it's always great to see supportive parents

The idea of commentingon forums rocks. I hadn't even thought about that, but a lot of the topics here on EF are sometimes controversial or make you want to explain what you, personally, do and would make great blog posts. You're giving me ideas everywhere!

Just takes a bit of effort and writing to un-rut though.

That's great. I use a common BDSM social network to farm for topics for SubGuide all the time

When I was younger, I did the gURL's "Deal with It!" guide, and the "Sex for Teens" book by Nikol Hasler is a great one I'm reading right now and appropriate for 15+.
