What would you want to see in a sexuality blog that focuses mainly on men's issues and toys?

I've done a fair amount of searching... and I can't say that I've found a blog that really deals with men's stuff as much as I would like to see. I see blogs on sales sites that are all product promos, I see blogs that you can tell are sponsored in their entirety.. I see blogs that tell stories of sexual encounters.. But I don't see blogs that delve into all types of male toys and male experiences.


I've already started the blog, and yes I'm taking the easy way out in asking for advice here.. But really: What would you like to see in a male oriented sexuality blog?

I think just having one at all is a big step. There really is no serious male sex toy information on the internet. Most information comes from shopping stores like Eden.

I'm obviously going to try to make some money with it, but at the same time I want to be able to provide things that are needed, be it reviews, sexual health tips, or even just sexuality news.

I'm open to any and all tips and would love to hear some feedback from any of the established bloggers that frequent Eden (or even some of the ones that don't).

I don't claim to know everything, but I do know how to do some research and I just want to try to provide a place for men to get clear cut advice and ideas.

I would like to see educational information regarding the prostate, to be completely honest. I don't have one and don't really know much about it. If people are looking for information on male sex toys, they might not know much about their body. So, educating potential players would be a huge plus. Maybe something about each type of toy's job. Kind of like Male Toys for Idiots. I mean just a basic coverage of the toys uses and what the result or desired effect is. Then of course what you're already doing by reviewing toys, that's awesome by itself.

Think about what you would have wanted to know and didn't know when you first started playing with toys. Materials, quality, textures, shapes, sizes, etc. Safety would be a huge thing too.

If you haven't seen a lot of blogs geared towards men's toys, then you might need to cover a lot.

Dunno, that's just my take on it. Either way I'm super stoked and proud of you for doing this. That's awesome, Will.

Thanks for the input! I realize that I may be taking a rather huge chunk of work for myself, but I think it will be worth it to provide some semblance of knowledge for anyone looking to learn!

I second what TJ said, but even more than that, I would love some information geared toward the ladies on how to help stimulate their partner's prostate. I still feel really lost on what I'm doing and getting advice from someone that has one and is open to talking about it would be really useful.

Expanding on this. I would like ideas on giving pleasure to a man that isn't "touch penis". But that is from a female.

My partners are just like: just touch the penis and let me touch you.

In fact, that's what I've gotten from almost every male partner....

Also, maybe some insight on other erogenous areas of the male body that women wouldn't expect.

A man's emotional experience with sex.

The wounded ego - how much importance is put into the size of a man and what it can do to your pride.

I would love to read some topics like this. Not just the sexual side of men, but the man's emotional experience as well. That's a side that not a lot of women get to see from their men and I think it would really set your blog apart to have that type of information available.
