If you are an avid reader then be sure to leave a comment or two on each of the stories you read to give our writers some encouragement!

This Month we will be doing a short grammar review...yes it will be short and sweet, before we get into the meat and potatoes of dialogue writing.
We will talk a bit more about Character Development as well and possibly offer the same topic this Month since no one seemed to want to tackle that topic!

I did't get any writing done. I will try and pop in for the meeting a little bit, but have dinner cooking now and will be eating when it starts. Maybe during bath time I will be able to hop in. Cheers to all and good job to those who DID get some writing done!

I think everyone was busy this Month. I know it was a monster for me! At any rate drop in cause we are going to discuss some grammar snafus and then character development leading up to writing dialogue! Should be fun.

Welcome to the June 2012 Meeting of the Eden Lit Writers Club!!
Hey there! How is everyone? Are you enjoying the warm and stuff? Last night was wild and wooly for us. massive thunderstorms knocked over my daughter's massive tomato plants and the peppers as well. Luckily we container garden so no major damage was done. We lost one promising pepper but it is ripening on the window sill and the green tomatoes? Can you say YUMM?

So no one felt brave enough to tackle the character development exercise! I admit to being intimidated by it as well. Shall we see if we can break it into some more manageable bite sized pieces? I think it's a great exercise but we might need some discussion about how to go about fleshing out a character before we tackle it again.

It wasn't a terribly easy month for me to write...seems like everything I did had a depressed sort of feeling to it. Hell even my toy died! LOL

As for what I wrote, it was certainly fantasy. Both myself and the boyfriend have been a little up to our ears to do anything more then snuggle until we both pass out lately. So it did have a little inspiration from my current thoughts.

It looks like the lure of the warm weather has taken our regulars away...that and health concerns. I did like your work though Scarletfox. It was creative and very uplifting, I thought. I love a woman who doesn't just sit and whine but goes out and gets what she wants.

I am peeking in for just a few minutes. Read and posted comments on the stories. The were nice and short and easy to read quickly. I had a toy story popping around a little but have been gone every weekend for a month aand it is my peak training season where I relly try to pish to prepare fore my races and other things.

I don't know if I've been "busy" so much as "climbing emotional mountains," but I'm confident it will all come out for the best shortly, and then I'll be just plain "busy" again

I definitely noticed the depressed tone! I even commented a little about the cruelty in the last few lines of your poem.
