Welcome to the Eden Lit Club Meeting for February!
This Month we have one major change, the Eden Blog is no more. We are working on a permanent home for our writing so bear with us.

Tonight I have a different sort of format in mind. We will begin to look at writing as a whole and sort of dissect the process and form a bit to better understand what we are doing. I'd like to look at First person narrative and I'll explain what that is and then for the critical review we'll attempt to write from this perspective.
First we'll take a look at the work that is labeled as critical review, and then we'll spend some time discussing the other topics....mmmmmm truffles!
I'd like to keep it fun and light and totally inclusive. We are looking to improve our writing as a writing club not an erotica club! So please understand that when you are critiquing as well as when you are writing. We might have some Months where we explore what it means to write erotica as well as how to write non-fiction. We want to explore and expand our horizons.

Starbuck coffee sounds good! However, here in Seattle, it is approaching 4:00pm; almost dinner time for me!!! I would rather have a drink!!

Am I the only one who finds Starbucks coffee... well.. not that good? I find it very acidic. But don't get me wrong, when I am in Beijing? I am all over Starbucks like me on a sex toy. Something western and all that!!!

I actually really like McDonalds coffee.

But it is just going on 8am here... Happy Valentine's Day!

I have never had Starbucks! I like Dunkin Donuts coffee, but mostly I just drink my own at home. Happy Valentine's Day back at ya, even though it is only a few minutes before 5 PM on Monday here....

Best coffee on the planet... dark roasted, full bodied, and black. And uber strong.

But not acidic.

Today is a festival day, so I get to pull out my coffee from the Dominican Republic and enjoy it's flavour!!! I am a coffee whore. I know. But... here we have ready access to instant and that is it. So when I get the real stuff... I go bonkers!!!

Personally i thought the first part was almost like it was a baby's first maternal kiss. It was tender and very sweet. As the story unfolded it seemed to add up to all the stages of a relationship and I loved the slow glide of the story....just the way I imagined that kiss.
