I have found when dealing with issues of power loss that whatever makes you feel like you are taking back control can be very catharctic...just be warned it can also lead to 'tear storms'. This break up of emotional barriers can lead to nightmares but I find in almost all cases they are healing rather than truly terrifying.

Just to let everyone know you can always submit your work completely anonymously if you wish, just drop Rayne a note, you don't have to explain why you want the work to be signed 'unknown' and we will keep it totally confidential. You'll still get the GC if you post on the blog. Just sayin'

Wait, I don't understand. How does the GC play into it and I thought stuff was supposed to be sent to Gary? *scratches head*

The very first month the submissions were sent to Gary. Then we started hosting them on our blog and they went to Carrie Ann. Now Rayne is in charge of the blog stuff, and if your whole piece is posted on our blog (rather than an excerpt with a link to your blog), then you get a $10 gift card

I guess now is as good a time to explain as ever!

Gary did start all this great stuff but he's got some new helpers so we're slowly adjusting the workload.
We will be sending all work to Rayne as of this month as she is taking over for Carrie Ann on all the blog stuff. She's doing an amazing job and really easy to work with.
She would prefer if we send our work in a separate file as an attachment as it's easier to work in wordpress. Also if you wish to keep your work on your blog send in a bit of an exerpt.
If you are gracious enough to allow us to publish your work on our blog we will give you a $10 GC per each submission up to $30 for three (which is our current limit). We cannot exchange payment for double posting material, unfortunately, and search engines penalyze this sort of behavior so it's best if you wish to share previousl published material that you provide a link. That way we won;t hurt your standing and we'll direct a bit of flow your way! All new material is welcome on the blog and Woman CHina appreciates it very much as she is in China and cannot read Blog spot.

Sounds great! Thank you for explaining it. I don't have anything published anywhere so I'll be happy to allow the entire piece to be on the Lit Club blog.

Once we have our topics I want to take the last minutes of the Meeting to pitch an idea to you folks:

Each club has a larger project they are working on and it only seems proper that we should have a book as our project!
We would need to come up with a theme or even no theme just a collection of writings from the Eden Lit Club.

Thoughts? Ideas? Questions? Squees of excitement?

I love this idea and have often thought of start an anthology. Of course becuase the twisted person I am, lol, I was going to call it freaks and fetishes and have writings from people from all walks share there stories of finding themselves in the kink realm. So I am all down for contributing and helping out for this project.
