Umm... An unoriginal thing, but what are you thankful for? Lame, I know, but you can say how you're thankful for your lover, or Thanksgiving traditions with family, or how womens rights, while not ... more
No, that's a great idea too. Grattitude, maybe, to generalize it a bit?

Airen what about the comment that was made in the post about having two them sections to span the month, then we could do all of the themes...I can't remember exactly how the suggestion went but it was something like that...in one of the forums...remember?

Couldn't it be any take... how about "a change of scenery?" that way, it's open to interpretation.

Thank you so much. I couldn't have done it without you.

Unfortunately, because of my current medical condition. I won't be reviewing more toys any time soon. At least, I can still read erotica.

mine too. EVERYONE gets rejected. there are famous authors who literally papered entire walls with rejection letters before being published. the trick is not to get your hopes up, to look for something that has a niche market you fall into, and to look for smaller, less popular/well-known places to submit. i mean, if you go submitting your first poem to the new yorker, ofc you're going to get a rejection letter.

I think we should decide Decembers themes too, to get a month ahead, since we're closing submissions two weeks before the meeting.

also, this is SUCH a busy time of the yr for most people, so that might be a good idea for this month/dec. holidays, trips, family in town... all that jazz... it can be overwhelming.

Thanks. Unfortunately, even after two trips to the hospital, five different doctors and so many different tests I've lost count, they still don't know what's causing the problem. Without knowing what's causing the chest pain and difficulty breathing, they can't figure out how to fix it. Sigh...

Sorry, to go off topic. I guess I'm sort of distracted.

I do have one book published with a small publisher, its been out a year and doing well. And I have a few anthologies that I will be in for next year. But I still get drunken butterflies in my stomach. I approach small ones and especially those I fit in to. I have a lot of submissions floating around. But you know its still tough. Im working on something now for the Dana Awards and seriously thinking of doing the poetry entry and essay. Plus Im working on the 2nd part of my book...so Im writing and submitting just still a chicken shit...lol

Considering how slowly I write, that sounds like a very good idea.

lakflallaljfal'.... I don't know if I can pick only 2! If I had to though, I'd go with Last Chances and pilgrimage, with gratitude and nov. chill being close second choices. VERY close.
