It might not be about her but honestly it is more about you anyhow. It shos a side of yourself to her tat you've kept hidden. My suggestion for what it's worth: Write one for her and throw it into the mix. Then you can say this one was for you. Let her really see you...she loves you, remember that.

Yeah, that sounds good to me. Get the submissions in and suggest possible section topics. And those can be tweaked once you see how the voting is going.

Not gonna happen...this was decided long ago that the meetings would be here on the forums. It's a bitch at times but there are reasons it's hosted here.

Cedar I went through that whole process. Because others liked erotica I thought my lovers would too. It wasn't always the case. It took years to find someone who could accept that part of me. She knows all of my work are various moments in my life and she doesn't focus so much on the "who". Try it with her you may be pleasantly surprised. You write well and you should share it with her. But I understand how hard it can be...

I post the meeting "notes" in the post meeting summary on the blog. I also tend to post a sort of recap during the assignment list. Don't worry it'll be clear as mud in no time!

lol...I always go back to the recaps and notes. It does make it easier to read it all there. Thanks for them.

I am of two minds on that one....we could host a voting about the stories to publish then take our topics/chapters from the stories (you know the stories were written about this topic so that topic becomes a chapter)
Or
we could vote on the best stories in those topics....problem is some Month's the topics and stories were wildly liberal and it could be hard to fit the stories in
Or
We vote on the best topics and then only include stories written on those topics
OR
We vote per month on ONE topic and then include stories written about that topic

Ok so more like I am of 4 minds....

Ahh I see the confusion...all the topics will be from past months we aren't adding anything new to the mix. You can check out this list for all the topics we have had since the beginning of the club.
Write about any of those and any of them stand a chance of being in the book. Does that make more sense?

I like the third option here... we vote on the best topics (for example five topics in total, or ten topics in total), then only include stories written on those topics. And then to make it more like our club, add in "Story Continuation" as a final chapter.

This way we'd have our favourite topics to pick from and if we only do one book, we've got our favourite topics. And if we do more books, then we can go from what we learnt the first time around.

I like the first that way you will get the best stories and poems into the book rather than having to settle for something that wasn't as well liked just to get something in that topic.

Oh I think if this goes off there will be as many books as we can write! Upper management loves the idea
