While you do have to be objective in your review if you're writing a Descriptive Review, you don't have to avoid using “me,” “my,” or “I.” It's perfectly fine to say something along the lines of “I feel that this would be an excellent choice for beginners because...”. The main thing you should focus on is the body of the review being objective and informative. Luckily, there are personal comments and experience sections that give you the opportunity to let us know what you may really think of something.

Lol, well ty for the thought. I've spent most of it studying for my final on sunday The timing of my birthday sucks for college scheduling.

i always hated writing first person. whether in fiction, essays, academic papers, or reviews, i just don't like it.
