Woudl Sam and I tag-team this?

I just think it might spark up cool ideas or recipes for everyone to make for their home Thanksgiving menus. Which I like the thought of.

Hmm, we could definitely get together and work something out. We could maybe make it a 2 hour event where you share how to make stuff and I give out a few small random prizes or other bits of Thanksgiving related trivia?

That would be fine by me. Would the date need rejiggering, or is the Monday before Thanksgiving enough time for people to plan things?

(Eep, I hope I can make a pretty turkey!) (Or really, I guess most people have turkey recipes, so I could focus on pies and side dishes)

Yeah I agree, I know how to make a turkey. But I always love hearing peoples sides and desserts.

It should be enough. You'll have the thread posted the week before and can share the ingredient list then.

We can discuss things further through email or Skype if you'd like

Please have a fresh cranberry recipe. People shouldn't eat cranberry sauce shaped like a can!

My pleasure---practically my duty, Kindred. Cranberries are my favorite fruit. My family's pretty big on whole berry sauce, do you want me to scrounge for a jellied one or will my whole berry one be acceptable?

I prefer whole berry myself. We used to make it too but now we go to a relatives every year and they prefer to slice their sauce. *shiver*

In 12 more battery percents I'll need a power cord anyway But yeah, whenever you're free, I will be too. I'm working easy hours these weeks.

Oh dear. Where I'm from, opening a can for anything is a great way to make sure you're never asked to bring a dish again

I prefer any time during the day, but Thursday evening would work too.

Juice to me is sweeter but also milder in taste. Cranberry sauce, at least fresh, is a punch in the face of sweet and tart. So no, not weird at all since the tastes are different.

And I like juice and sauce but dislike relish.

Well, good thing I decided to pop into this meeting, hmm?

So, now that we've decided that we aren't going to have a traditional Thanksgiving party, let's shift our focus towards planning the Winter Holiday party.

What, if any, holidays should we include in that? Or would it be best to just leave it at "party of the holidays?" What about trivia?

Is it realistic to include a little bit of everything?

I think a non-denominational party would be best so as not to offend anyone. Trivia however might become a challenge.
