We don't do the tree, I don't think there is a good enough reason to kill a tree to drag it in a house for a week, then throw it out for the garbage man. We do a Yule Log, we find a downed tree in the woods and take a piece back to carve.

Next order of business!

When do we want to have it? I'd like to shoot for sometime between Christmas and New Years for some breathing room on the calendar between parties. Our options for December dates in general are :

- Wednesday, December 14th
- Friday, December 16th
- Wednesday, December 21st
- Friday, December 23rd
- Monday, December 26th
- Thursday, December 29th

Ooooorrrrr, we could have the party in January instead. There's nothing wrong with that either.

dec 14 or 16 or 29. I will be on vacation from the 20th-28th.

If we just focus on fun, it should be a good time for everyone. If you have something specific, please lets try to accommodate each other.

I would avoid the 23rd and 26th, too close to the holiday I think. Any of the other dates would be fine but personally I would go for the earlier dates rather than the late dates.
