Huh. We had a few days that we were allowed to wear them, but otherwise they weren't allowed. Neither were coats, but I got away with it fairly often in the sections of the school that were freezing. When the one threatened to give me a detention for wearing my coat, I showed up the next day with a blanket, lol.
