Before anybody else takes off, I want to make sure I mention our next book will be Carnal Machines, edited by D.L. King

Steampunk erotica has finally arrived (seems like we've been drooling over the possibility for months!)

We'll be meeting on July 12 and rumor has it, D.L. King might be joining us!

The book after that is Alison Tyler's Playing With Fire ... there are still a few copies of this one available if anybody has not signed up to review it, do it now, before they disappear!

I am so excited about discussing Carnal Machines! And my steampunk erotic romance collection Steamlust will be out in October-- so perhaps we'll be discussing that one as well in a few months!

I think it can be tricky to have more than two people in a sex scene, but it's not impossible! I think that was my largest number of participants-- four people having sex and the driver watching.

Sounds like a night to remember. I know IRL it tends to get tricky with three...I can only imagine having to create it with more.

It can be hard to keep a tight focus in stories with more than two or three participants. As a reader, I find it harder to feel "within" the ultimate scene--okay, the "come shot"--when there are too many points of view to consider. But some people can do them really well.

Well, there's a lot of voyeurism in my story, given the confines of the backseat of a limo. But anything is possible in fantasy...
