As long as it's well-written I'm good. Even the books that cater to exactly what turns me on don't manage to do it with every story. I think it's part of the appeal of the anthology, because you get so many different takes on a particular subject. There's bound to be something you'll really enjoy, erotically speaking and there's bound to be others that you can appreciate but don't turn you on.

It's more important to me that the stories be well written, because I can still enjoy and appreciate a story that an author has taken the time to bring to life, even if it doesn't get me all hot and bothered. But if it's poorly written, it won't turn me on, and I won't read it.

Honestly with all of the books Naked Reader has given me, there have only been a handful of stories I've been bored by.
True, they have been great books since I have been here. I am having troubles getting one of my sisters to leave them alone after I read them. I am making her do like a library and check them out one at a time so that I know I will get them back lol.

My husband takes some of mine. She's On Top disappeared before I could start reading it and my review was late cuz I had to force him to give it back lol

I've offered to get my husband pedicures, he wants nothing to do with it. Which just leaves it as time for my sister and I to go get pampered

I was just idly musing on the difference between moneypig and a painpig (a common term in the BDSM scene.) Both are submissives--well, more or less--but the moneypig gives money and the painpig takes pain, and in fact is greedy for it.

Sorry, I don't think any of us here really want to delve that far into some areas. Still, the giving and taking dichotomy makes me think.
