It seems people these days do not like to accept any form of criticism.

Me too, but this story was a fabulous way to get my attention in this book. Now I'm going to feel like a perv at Toys-R-Us lol!

Alas, my Mr. couldn't make it. He got stuck working OT tonight. On the brightside, I didn't miss the beginning of the meeting like I usually do when I need to pick him up.

I'd say just ignore her. She's not worth getting riled up over.

When I was reading G Is for Games, I decided that games entail strategy and jockeying for dominance, which can also apply to many activities we think of as sports. Tennis is a pretty good example.

Lol, I would probably fall into the category of whippersnapper, but then again I often sound like a cantankerous old lady when I rant.

I think games and sports need some kind of winner/loser construct, to be more than just play....

In which case, anything can be a game, if you set it up right. Sports seem more organized, with a need for honing a skill and participating in something more ...organized.

It's kind of elusive, really, there are some blurry lines.
