Hi Rachel, I'm so glad you could make it! Tonight's been kind of a wild ride, but if you have a chance, you can find a lot of appreciation for your work here and there in the discussion.

Books were FAR better than the movie, you can remove more clothing that way..

From what I hear this last movie may be the best. I am one of those people who when reading its like a movie playing in my head so I would rather read the book. At least in this case my imaginings were so much better than the movies.

The movies have bad acting, read the books. Besides, it's more interesting to read than movie-watch anyways. In my opinion.

I think they're Harlequin but not sure. I had just heard about them and wondered. Bummer to know the stories are lame though

To all the writers out there, I'm actively looking for female sub/male top BDSM stories, beyond that no specific wishes, just hot/creative stories. Details are here: link

For mixed paranormal erotica, try Kristina Wright's Dream Lover, discussed here a while back. (I wrote about a demon trapped in a gargoyle.) Not exactly paranormal, but Kristina's stempunk-themed Steamlust is good fun, too.

I heard the books were better than the movies. I've seen the movies, and I think they suck, and it would not be hard for the books to be better.

I'm hard to please with books and movies, and having a girl looking more anemic and empty than vampires isn't original. They don't even change of expressions throughout the movies and Bella looks famished all the time - the way they wanted to show she wanted that vampire...

La la la... Watch the first movies, but if you decide to watch the second to see if it gets any better, it does not.

I am not a fan of the books or the movies, but clearly many people are. Not enough happiness for me... I feel like everybody needs a script for Prozac!

If you're going to experience Twilight for the first time, go for the books instead of the movies. Either way they're a little teen-oriented and angsty, but not too bad. Vampire Academy was better though.

The problem is with Harlequin, they hatch so much books that they don't know what to come up with, and authors write stuff more farfetched than the next.
