Hey -I liked the way Fairy Tale Lust flowed. Over the river and through the woods!

So the title (theme) doesn't come first?
Sometimes... sometimes not. I think it depends on the collection. If it's a general collection of women's erotica, the title might come last when the stories come together to form a snapshot of the overall anthology. In the case of the anthology I'm currently working on (steampunk erotic romance), I had an awesome title (I think) months ago and had to change it just a couple of weeks ago because another book is coming out with a very similar title. Oh well...

How often does that happen, I mean is that a common occurance? I can see how it would be difficult to have a title sometimes fit a collection of stories and accuratly describe each of them.

I couldn't think of a better reason to be late than that. My excuse was dinner ran late, which it did but I much rather have been playing with the kids.

Thanks, Brenda. Overall, I think it flowed well. There were just a couple of places where it didn't feel like it transitioned as well as I would've liked. But I'm a perfectionist and probably the only one to notice such things.

You won't regret it! This is a good book eve though it can be a bit jarring at times. Course then again it's a bias of my own that I really don't like reading stories about cheating on your spouse. It's a sore subject.

Honestly, I can only speak for myself. I have a pretty clear theme going into each project, but I've been doing fairy tales, paranormal and steampunk! My fourth anthology will be a collection of best erotic romance and the title was given to me-- Best Erotic Romace 2012. Easy enough, right?

Speaking of which, I'm still accepting stories for Best Erotic Romance 2012 for those of you who might be interested! You can find guidelines on my blog (kristinawright.com) or at the Erotic Readers and Writers Association.

True! I have to say the story that shares the book title was AMAZING! I SO want to see those paintings...

I am looking forward to the release of that. Should be easy enough to remember as long as I still remember what year it is.

The other themes sound very interesting. Any titles you can mention to add to my reading list tonight? (Sorry that is sooooo off topic)

Oh, I did mean to mention that earlier-- it's a popular trend to title an anthology after the lead story. I've seen it quite a lot in science fiction and horror.

That is an amazing opportunity to offer. I know many from Airens Lit Club that should really be published (as well as Airen herself)

The Sweetest Kiss is one of my all-time favorite anthologies! And I'm not just saying that because it has one of my all-time favorite stories I've ever written in it.

The fairy tale collection came out last July-- Fairy Tale Lust. The paranormal collection comes out May 1-- Dream Lover. And the steampunk collection comes out in October-- Steamlust. Thanks for asking!

I think that is a clever title, and can not wait to get this now. Have all the books thus far been short story collections?
