Bugger huh....lol.
That is a pitty. The US and AU are very different accents so ya would think ya would still hear each others. I guess ya just get sooooo use to it.

Hehehe.
I wish I could pick up the courage to do a video review. That would make a review a little different. I haven't yet come across anyone outside of US doing the videos.
If anyone comes across any, I'd be interested.

Lol - the road workers. Everytime ya see them normally, they are taking a break to eat. It can be 10am and there they are snacking.
But I'm hoping they will get the job done once they start working on the range.

I have no idea when I will be getting my review toy package. It could be a couple of weeks before the temporary track up is ok for light traffic. I want them to pass the packages for this area onto Toowoomba and have them deliver them. I realise they can't get straight through the normal way but ya do pay more for courier service and I don't think it's right that they just say - " well we can't get through so ya just have to wait"... those are my words for them but that's basically what they are doing.

It is absolutely POURING down here at the moment. Just started to storm. Yay - just what we need. The water from a week ago still hasn't seeped into the ground yet so there's more adding to it.

Yeah, I imagine it's pretty shocking. They reckon it will take a couple of years for Brisbane to get back to normal again.
That's good they are safe. Probably be awhile (especially if they get this rain) before they can get back.

Ohhhhh nasty! So depressing when ya see the beaches looking gross. I LOVE the water - at least that's not falling from the sky lately...lol.
Yes, those mozzies are horrid. They are liking the swampy water laying around the yard but they aren't quite as bad as I thought they would be.
Can't stand their damn itchy bites.
Have you got any of those plug in things and mozzie repellent pads that go in them???
Or any citronella candles?
They are concerned about them carrying Ross River Fever, Dangi Fever etc so stay protected from those little buggers!

Uggggg.
My mum got Ross River Fever about 14 years ago and I remember her being really sick. Nasty stuff.
Although, not as nasty as Q-Fever!
I hope to stay away from all those Fevers ... icky.

I'm hoping to build the courage. I'm thinking about doing a practice one or two or 10...lol ... before I make a request to Carrie Ann.
Would hate to ask to do a video for a certain toy and then not be able to go through with it.

Maybe im just dirty minded but i wish there were video reviews of a more adult nature >.> showing off the toy is all fine and dandy but seeing it used for its intended purpose just sounds fun. Me and the wife are a bit naughty though >.>

there are some nsfw videos up on edentube, but I think genital shots aren't allowed.

I kind of agree - I want to see just how they work, how they fit that kind of thing, but it takes reviews into the porn realm. Id gladly do that kind of video but no way would I want it published and somehow linked to any of my online activities. Not sure if there's anywhere that does them though.

I hope the rain hurries up and stops. The SES are going to have to go in to get the guys out from what I've heard. Im not surprised at how long it will take for things to get fixed, its a pretty huge disaster.

And I know what you mean by the council road guys lol, I thought you meant the truck drivers!! It's pretty rare to see them stopping let alone hanging out talking and eating. I know that /groceries and freight is getting through to the major regional cities so hopefully any new packages will be sent via Toowoomba.
Have you thought of contacting DHL? they are the company EF is paying to have it delivered, so if the local courier cant be bothered doing the right thing, Im sure DHL or whomever is in the chain of custody above them should be able to give them a kick in the ass. No way is it ok for them to wait weeks/months to deliver it when theyve already been paid to make the delivery

I think most of us here are dirty minded to some degree!
The most revealing video on here I have seen was just yesterday - PassionQT ... Marvelous Mimi
Was well done!

Fortunately the storm here didn't continue all night. But we have another storm coming - it's rumbling out there now.
But yeah, they will have to fly them out. It's taking too long to be able to drive out.

Lol - the truckies don't like stopping for anything or anyone. If they do stop for food, ya see them stop (out here) at a pie van which is quick and easy and then they are off again. I have to say, they are the BEST pies I have ever had!
Massive things.

No, last time I contacted DHL for another reason, I was just told to call Toll Priority cause that's who delivers to me.
I can check online at the main progress and it just says for back on the 11th Jan - Undeliverable:Fl ood Area - Tue 11/01/2011 7:06 AM
And nothing since. Was kinda hoping that yesterday or today would be a delivery day if they handed it onto Toowoomba courier to bring it out.
I'm going to call when I can get the phone.
Yeah, it's not right that they just sit back slacking off on their committments. People pay enough for the service.
Fine if there was no way in, but there is a way around and they could pass packages for this area onto someone else to get them through.

I have always been thrilled with their service cause no other courier will actually deliver to the house cause we are close to 10mins out of town ... out in the sticks on a dirt road.
But this matter has disappointed me.

Interesting - just rung Toll Priority and apparently nothing was going to be done. The package was just going to sit there for who knows how long.

I asked if there were any arrangements made to hand packages for out here onto Toowoomba so they could bring them out this way as there would be couriers coming from Toowoomba to Kingaroy for sure.
Her reply was - they won't hand them onto Toowoomba.

But she took my details - even asking if I knew what was in the package and then asked if I could collect it from Toowoomba.
WTF. That's $30 worth in damn fuel! The postage from Eden is cheaper!
So I said it's too far and said I could pick it up from Kingaroy if Toowoomba could get it there.

So now I'm waiting for the actual courier at Caboolture to ring me and tell me what's going on. So help them if they don't make arrangements. I'm STEWING now!
Knowing businesses and the fact they don't really want to deal with this issue, they probably won't call today! They have an hr before knock off time.

I'm kinda wondering if Eden would/could send the next DVD package via insured airmail but may cost the earth. If the track up the range isn't in progress by the time they are ready to send (via courier), I may not get them before the discussion.

It's just not fair if they can't be bothered fulfilling what they are paid to do. Hope they ring me back today. The longer they leave it, the more frustrated and peeved I get.

That's just not good enough, maybe speak to EF's customer service people as what they are doing isnt right, eden have paid (and you too) for a service, getting that package to you. It's not like they can't get it to you, they just dont want to do what is required in this situation... which is their job!!

Good news - Some chick rung me back asking if I want the package sent to Toowoomba. I don't know if I just didn't explain myself very well (which happens often) or if the message from the first chick just got mixed up.

Anyway, I clarified myself to the 2nd chick and she went and rung the Caboolture depot to find out info.
She rings back and gives me the number to ring Caboolture so I could actually talk to them myself and find out what's happening.

I rung them and they have a large courier truck coming through tomorrow - around Gympie way. YIKES. But it seems quicker than Toowoomba with all the road works and hold ups there.
I had to give them a phone number to ring me when they get in town, cause they won't go over dirt road in the truck due to the amount of rain we've had. That's fair enough. Our road is still chopped up and slippery in a couple of spots cause the water just hasn't seeped in yet and it's been sunny days (apart from a couple of storms) for over a week.
So I should have my package tomorrow afternoon as long as Gympie and surrounding areas don't flood over night. Ya just look at Gympie and it almost floods. They have a serious problem up there.

Bad news - We didn't get rain from the thunder this arvo but the storm has come back on us (it often does with summer storms). And there have been severe storm warnings (with probable hail) for a large area of QLD - from Bundaberg to Toowoomba - with possible flooding again in already flooded areas. Joy
The news said the heavy rain is hitting into the top corner of NSW too.
I'm pretty sure they said somewhere in NSW had hail the size of golf balls. OUCH!

Have you got a forecast for rain there???

Crap - I just worked out on google maps how far and long it will take the courier .... 4hrs and 45mins. Friggin long day for a round trip.
Ya would think it easier to hand on packages to Toowoomba to come out here. Takes a lot of stress off the Caboolture driver.
