Legally, you only have to claim if it's more than $600 from one source.

I'm not a CPA, so it'd be best to confirm that with your tax person...or risk it.

I am gonna have one heck of a complicated tax year.

On the bright side, this will be the first time in 3 years I won't be filing in three separate states---but I think I've had more employers this year than any other year also. Sigh.

I'm pretty sure you can fax it too. Maybe even scan/email it. Email me with it and I'll get it to the right person. Or I'll get you pointed in the right direction at least

No you are correct. Ive researched the hell out of that from sweeps. I lucked out because one of my big ones didnt have me sign anything and they werent filing it. So I didnt have to pay on it last year. It was pretty awesome.

Another question, I signed up to be an affiliate but don't remember if it was online or offline..Any idea how to find out?

For the Affiliate program, you have to sign up for it. It's pretty easy to do from the Account section of your profile (upper left corner).

ANYONE can be an affiliate. You basically get a three character code that can get you discounts on orders (if they aren't on sale).

Friend of affiliate means that someone signed up UNDER you to be an affiliate.

Offline affiliates and online affiliates both get codes. If someone enters in your code during check out, you get a commission and they get the discount on non-sale items.

Friends of affiliates is a bit different. You can read more about it on the link.

So how does the system know whether they got my code online or offline? I would have thought I was only eligible for online.

I don't think it matters for the commissions.

Also, if you're an affiliate with a blog, you can get your own widgets which, when someone clicks on it and buys the product, you'll get a % of that too.

If you are an affiliate, you won't get a check or paypal payment until you go passed $50 in commissions. BUT you can use any banked amount on-site.

The system doesn't know. The terms "Offline" and "Online" just apply to which one was used - one of your affiliate links (online) OR the affiliate code itself (Your three-digit coupon code that gets the person 15% off).

Right, JR?

So if I have under 50 I can use it on my order still?
