Hello all!

As you might have noticed, we're about to close the book on 2011 and start 2012. Now is a good time to look back on the reviews you've written and figure out how to "raise the bar". With this workshop, we're going to be putting together our thinking caps and helping each other to challenge ourselves with writing better reviews.

Another topic: What kinds of products would you like to review in the future? Have you tried any new products this year that surprised you?

I kind of wonder whether I should be more consistent. I feel like some of my reviews are just really explanatory, detail-specific, prosaic, scientific and dry, and then others are mostly flowery and spend more time sounding like I'm in love with steel than anything in particular about the toy.

If I was to become more consistent, though, I don't know which side I should steer toward in general. Insight? Or just keep writing as the mood strikes? Or try to balance them all better?

Definitely gonna try to check this out! I haven't done anything review-wise since the 50,000th celebration due to general holiday business. Once next week rolls around, though, I hope to get back into the swing of things (especially since I've got a handful of good stuff I'm gushing over right now).

I hope to be able to be there. I have to ask Master first. My goal for 2012 is to become a good slave in every way I can. I want to review something new each week, yep, a goal of 52 reviews next year. I hope I can do that! I am pretty sure my first new toy in 2012 is going to be the Jopen Intensity, and I am totally looking forward to it!!

I think the hardest thing for me to review is something I love but it already has a number of reviews on it and I'm trying to figure out what to say.

I got the G-Ki last month as a buyout assignment and we use it a lot. But there are so many excellent reviews on it.

I finally broke down and wrote the review as if using the toy was a "threesome" and G-Ki was a person.

Sure I'll get downvoted - but I know some folks will laugh too.

It was all I could do because I just could not bring myself to write a more "scientific" type of review.

Actually not, I don't think this city is quite so olive-ly equipped. But, if I ran the world, that's what we'd be having tonight for the workshop. Feta, olives, nice homemade pita, probably some other delicious, slightly salty things.

Yeah, we always seem to talk about food, zombies, and post lolcat pix for these workshops...I have no idea where the zombies and lolcats come in.

Zombies and lolcats make the day more fun. Loosens people up. I gotta go to the store but will do my best to be back by 7.
