*giggling* Well good for you sweetie.

I have always wanted toe socks especially the rainbow pattern one. If I come across them I think I am going to get them.

If it does, I've never maxed it out, but I max out the regular review template all the time. But, again, I'm kinda chatty.

Oh, yeah and I agree with Cherry about increasing the minimum.

thats not cool, they obviously were only in it for the free product

I've had this happen, too. I wish there was something that could be done. Someone suggested requiring a CC be on file (I have no idea who or where this was said but props to you) so that if they don't fulfill their obligation of writing a ... more
It would also be a deterrent to people joining the program. Think about it, would you give a cc number for a program/website you don;t necessarily know much about yet? I wouldn't

IIRC, you have to enable the mentor program, before you can send a class request.

account--> mentor program--> (and then do all of the requirements listed there.)

I'd also like to see the minimum go up a bit. I don't need hundreds of extra words, but even 50 would be useful. I find often that when I'm over the limit it's only by about 30 words or so.

in your account page is a little mentor program menu as well, if you click that you can join and choose a mentor thats open or use someone from this thread who has an opening

that's the general thought I've heard too. Not everyone has CC's. But, if they do take an assignment, we do have their RL addresses if we need to track them down for a $30 toy.

I second what you said about the CC thing or whatever, at least having some sort of electronic waiver in there. I remember when I first started this I was scared I'd get charged if my reviews weren't done in time!

Yeah, I probably wouldn't either. I still find it so rude that people quit though after their freebee, for those of you having kids I beg you, PLEASE raise them better than that!

Grrr. Stupid people bother me. It is ignorance like that, that keeps society so closed mind to such a healthy release of stress and frustration.

That's true; that's what makes it imperfect.

I don't know that there IS a way to make it enough of a deterrent that people don't flake out where EF also isn't sending out lots of products that just go poof.

Read reviews of a few that you are considering and see which style appeals to you most. Personally, I wouldn't worry too much about their product specialty. Any mentor can help you review better.

I'd pick whichever one you feel can help you with what you want. Some are better at writing on vibrators than books, or dvds over lingerie, and so forth. If you want to write about a particular item better I'd pick someone who specializes in it. Or you could just pick with your gut instinct!

I have one student who started in Nov. or Dec. He's got his 2nd review item, just hasn't finished the review!
