It looks like I might have assignments to push tonight too. If you don't have any outstanding assignments, let me know.

That does sound good...the pizza, not the commando Dwtim. I'm not going there, no offense

Wolverine issue 1. The first run of it, back when he was relevant and not whiny and lame.

Ok, no mention of ranch nor buttermilk in 1839 Kentucky (when it's assumed the reader knows everything about basic preparations). But in 1867 Georgia, in a cookbook written for housewives whose cooks had all just left to celebrate their freedom, a description of how to make buttermilk and a description of how to make mayonnaise are both given... anybody could have mixed'em and added parsley, chives and garlic without Steve and Gayle Henson, and just not bothered to patent it

Anyway, mine's too runny. Hope you brought absorbent dipping foods.

I think I have two out right now. But they should both be done by the end of the week!

Welcome to the Review program workshop!

I wanted to start this off with a bit of Q/A and then get into the topic of "What to do next?"

Contributor: El-Jaro El-Jaro
So, let's start with the Q's...

J'approve.

I'll bite---you mentioned in the lead-in that lots of people get an assignment pushed to a student, and then the student doesn't reply to messages afterward. I'm pretty new to the mentor program, but I'm sure this comes up a lot. What should a mentor do?

Funny how things work. I finally got caught up on my reviews and was looking for an assignment. I was not finding anything that perked my fancy when low and behold, one was sent to me.

How cool is that?

I just got a corset for the wife, so I guess the answer is yes.

How many times do most people go through the mentor program? And in correlation, how often?

The general consensus is that the mentor gives them a short deadline to get back in contact with them if they lose touch, 2 weeks is ok.

If they don't hear back, send them another message that if you don't hear back from them in a week, you'll cancel the class.

RL comes up, but just not responding to emails isn't cool.
