Thank you for all the great feedback on my questions. What happens when you don't like a product? Do you skip the review or post it as is?

Reviews should always be honest, whether you liked it or not. EF is not looking to post only favorable reviews.

If it's an assignment, you still have to review it. If you don't like the product, you should still try to come up with something positive about it. It's not mandatory, but remember that each person is different. Some people LOVE the smell of jelly toys.

Also, Kayla wanted to talk to you. kayla (at) edenfantasys.com

I've written several reviews where I didn't like the product. I'm a fairly picky person. Negative reviews, if they are still informative, seem to be welcomed as much as positive reviews.

Post the bad review. When I am looking buy a product I always read the bad reviews first. i look to see if it was just a fluke or if it is a common complaint on a toy.

EF wants us to be honest, so if we don't like a product then write why it didn't work for us. But also remember to include who may like it more than you... for me I have the clit of steel thing going on, so moderate vibes that work for many other women are just eh for me.

You state what you don't like about it and why. Just like you would if you did like it.

yeah

There's nothing wrong with a negative review, as long as it's fair.

I review it, but I don't ever totally trash the product completely. I am honest in all my reviews. Sometimes the product wasn't great for me because of ME (my orgasm style, my body etc) sometimes it just wasn't a well made item. I always try to be respectful, but always review assignments, even if they aren't the best toys.

The best way, along with the Mentor Program, to learn to write good review is to READ as many reviews (especially by reviewers with high rankings) as possible. That way you see what works on Eden and how to do a review for both toys you love, those you don't really care for and anything in between.

I also read the negative reviews. I like finding out why some people don't like it as much as finding out why some people do. Both aspects can help me decide whether I will like a toy.

exactly, and some people have more sensitive noses etc, my latest assignment is "lightly scented" but omg for me it is overkill

Good... I've seen other (non-sex) review discussions bring that topic up and it always seems to be a hot-button type thing. Fair is perfect response.

I hope you don't mind all these questions. I'm just someone who tries to make sure I understand everything up front before jumping in. I appreciate you all being so patient and open with me.

So do I. If there are only a few people that didn't like it and a ton that did, I just have to assume that it just didn't work for them.

Not a problem!

A lot of people are skeptical with free anything. I totally understand.

You should check out the Mentor program and find someone who can help you

I would definitely consider the Mentor program. Personally, I think the experience is invaluable for new reviewers.

Love the smell of jelly. B:EH I had a weird sexualization reaction to Sil-A-Gel, because that was our first toy years ago. Every time I'd smell a shower curtain or stawberry candy, I'd get horny.

no problem at all, I understand the hot topic you mean, I always work with companies who want a fair and honest review, I never accept something from someone who doesn't want to me post a negative review on my blog.

Nonsense, questions are how we all learn. Never be afraid to ask questions

I will do that along with emailing Kayla. Thank you again everyone for the discussion. I'm looking forward to spending more time here. I have to go chase the kiddos for awhile.

Have a wonderful evening!
Hugs,
Sage

I love the smell of gasoline, so I understand the appeal of "strange" smells lol
