Should Coquette Make More Options for Larger Women?

Contributor: ToyGurl ToyGurl
First of all, I love Coquette Lingerie. It's soft, comfortable to wear, gorgeous, and they have tons of pieces for every occasion.

Unfortunately, not all of their pieces are made to fit women who are just a little larger. I'm between a 12-14 in women's lingerie. It seems like when I buy from Coquette I end up giving my lingerie to my sister/roommate because it doesn't fit right.

Would anyone else like to see more from Coquette for larger women? We're beautiful too and I think we should be more catered too as well. As far as plus size, I don't see enough options offerred from EF.

Not to mention, some lingerie that can actually make your breasts look good. A lot of the lingerie I buy that claims to "lift" your breasts seems to just let them sag.

Yes, please. My wife is a larger woman and the styles are beautiful.

They've added a few more options. I'm a size 18 curvy chick myself, and I know EdenFantasys is doing their best to get more options out there for us!

See, the sizing running small is a major plus for me. Most smalls are too big for me, and there's not really a lot of options in XS. Coquette smalls fit me really well.

But, I understand the frustration of being outside the size range and things not fitting right because they're either to big or too small.

I do think they should offer sizes for larger women. Everyone deserves sexy lingerie!

From the little bit of digging around I've done on Coquette's website, it seems like almost everything is offered in the full range of sizes. However I haven't gone digging in a while. What that means is that while we may not carry all the sizes (which I totally do think we should because everybody does deserve to wear sexy lingerie that they like and fits them), the larger sizes should be available from other retailers. I'm not saying to buy all of your lingerie elsewhere, but until the day that I hope we start carrying everything, there are other places to get it

I guess a better question is should EDEN carry more of coquette's larger sizes. I did notice this morning that Coquette offers large sizes, we just don't necessarily get them here. You are totally right lol.

Nonetheless, it is just so frustrating not being able to look good and feel good in what you are wearing. I have had to modify a lot of the lingerie I have purchased because the sizes run small. I have, however, had a size run big once - but only that once.

I would like some stuff with better lift as far as the breasts lol!

I definitely think that Eden should carry more! lol

And I think the breast lift thing is something with pretty much all lingerie. I've only had a few pieces give me decent lift and I think they were all from Coquette lol.

It goes the other way too.. as far as smaller sizes I don't see many options at all. I'm usually an XS or size 0/1 (I'm 5' tall.. not anorexic )- none of the measurements on their small stuff seem small enough.

I just read your post- that's really encouraging that Coquette smalls fit you and most smalls don't fit you. Being out of the typical size range is really frustrating for sure. Would you mind sharing your measurements or PMing me them or something? I really like Coquette's lingerie, I'm just nervous about ordering it if it won't fit, ya know?

I couldn't agree more!

I personally have been pushing for Coquette to expand the styles they offer in larger sizes.
I'm happy to say that in the Coquette Main Catalog for 2011 alone, they offered roughly 45 different styles in plus/queen sizes, ranging from OS/XL, to XL, to 1X2X and even expanded into 3X4X. I will admit the 3x4x offering is still rather slim in my opinion, but something I am still pushing for expansion on.

We also have 3 additional catalogs we launch year round which all have larger sizing available.

Make sure you get after Eden fantasys to add more of an offering in larger sizes, as I know many of the styles they carry from us are offered up to XL and even 1x2x!

Here are a handful of my favourites from our lines that are available in larger sizes:
1033, 3672,1025,1057,1035,1045,3667,1023,1021,1950,1933,328,1328

I apologize if the links are a little all over the place, I'm still learning!

Thank you for all your feedback and know that I'll keep pushing for more from Coquette for you. Loving the feedback!!

Thank you again,
Britt

I am a women on the small end. B cup boobs and 119lbs, at 5'6" When a coquette piece fits me it is awesome but just as often my boobs seem to disappear.
It seems that Coquette has reworked its sizes so I have to learn the system all over again.
Great that Coquette is getting lingerie for a wider range of sizes.

Thanks Britt!!

Coquette is carrying more larger sizes now, so many are available but not specifically on EF. I hear ya on wanting more plus size lingerie though that offers a good fit, I'm a size 16 and always love finding plus size lingerie

yes! i agree with this woman. a lot of smalls I find are too big for me, leaving me with a rather limited lingerie collection. but yes, i think it's necessary to cater to the larger ladies too.

It would be nice if they would make the bra sizes bigger. Me being the busty girl I am, I have a hard time finding some that fit me.

I would love a larger selection of lingerie for the bigger ladies. In regular clothes I'm juuust on this side of regular sizes, but my confidence really takes a hit because I'd never fit into regular sizes of lingerie. Would be much, much easier if the plus-size option was available because then I could still fit into the style I want, instead of having to pick something else.

Same goes for costumes, by the way.

I seriously wish they would make more stuff for the larger ladies that actually compliment the curves better. It's pretty much why I buy lingerie in person so I can exam it better.

I have a 44D bra size and wear 22/24 clothing and today I received my first two items from Coquette in my Eden order. The first is the last link that Brittany shared - only in the blue and black combination. WOW. I got it in 3x/4x because Eden didn't have it in 1x/2x. I am not sending it back - but I wish I'd had it in a smaller size. I'm getting the red one in the smaller size. The second item I got was the Naughty People Chemise in a 1x/2x and wow - what comfort. I LOVE it. It isn't "sexy" as in lace or satin - but the fabric is just so comfortable to wear. My husband loved it and said that it fits my personality better than the other item (although he liked that too).

I just want folks to know (before I get my reviews done) that Coquette does have some awesome stuff for us larger girls.
