Vibrating ceramic toys?

In your professional opinion, what are your thoughts on incorporating "vibration" into you products? I am interested to see another manufacturer's opinion (one that works with fragile materials). Glass, ceramic and porcelain are very similar in a lot of ways.

Hi Adam, I did think about doing a ceramic vibrator for a short period of time, only because a customer suggested it. when I talked to Dariusz, our ceramist, the same concern came up that with ceramic being a fragile material after a period of time of constant vibrating that the possiblity of small fractures occuring was a concern for us. I know that there is a ceramic vibrator on the market and it is lovely and I have nothing but respect for the company and give them a thumbs up for their creativity. You know as well as I do, that glass and ceramic though similar in many ways, is a material where the safety questions to your designs is always an issue. I guess in the end I like creating pieces that are not only safe but put a new, never seen before twist on ceramic. Thanks for the question.
