Mothers. They are the center of our world until we are able to go off and explore the world on our own. They are their for us when we scrape our knees, when we score our first A on an assignment and when our hearts are broken for the first time.

Being a mother is the equivalent of working two full-time jobs and then some. Just because the lights are out and the kids are in bed, doesn't mean that momma's mind has stopped grinding gears, trying to solve the family's problems or work out a way to take a family vacation. It's a thankless job but somebody's got to do it!

Are you getting anything special for Mom this year? Moms - what do you want more than anything this year?

My husband ordered me a purple, yellow, and multi-colored rose bushes off the computer and then some other flowers that attract butterflies and hummingbirds because he knows I love flowers, butterflies, and birds. I can't wait until they come in and we can plant them.

I haven't decided what I'm getting my mother yet.

I'm going to give my mom the Cake Desserted Island Duo and the Cake Body Mousse that goes with it. I'll probably pick up some more Cake items for her as well. She's never seen/heard of Cake before so she's going to love this!

We can't do too much for mothers day this year, so for both moms (mine and his) we've got tshirts that say "Best Grandma Hands Down" that came with finger paint and a place for our lil man's hand prints. I think they're going to love it! If my gift card gets to me in time I may get them some bath and body products... They def. deserve it!

I live far away from my mother so I'll just be mailing her a card and some magazines that I was part of editing that she's been wanting me to send her for a while.

My family doesn't bother with gifts for anything - even birthdays. But occasionally one may know of something another needs and will surprise them.
It will be late by the time it arrives, but mum loves my Dona body butter, so I'm going to get some for her in my next order.

I have actually decided to make her a Dona gift basket... She liked the smell of Mangosteen so I think it would be a nice gift if everything was in that smell.

My Mother In Law loves the Pomegranate. I've ordered her a bunch of the Dona Line. She loves it.

Well, today I found the cutest gift. I had to share. Personalized stepping stones. I got one for my mom and one for my step mom. I titled them Grandma & Boys.

For my mom it says:
DJ
Papa
Sylas
Grandma
(My boys are DJ and Sylas)

For his mom it just has Grandma and my boys.

i got my mom this birdsnest necklace from Etsy, custom made with one pink, blue and white pearl, representing me and my 2 sisters.

LOVE the birds nest necklace! I want one for myself, haha. I thought about getting my mom a decoration with a birds nest to signify myself and my brothers. She doesn't wear much jewelry so the necklace would just sit in her jewelry box.

I will probably get my mom some gardening items and include some hand care items.

thanks! i got my baby sister one with a large pink and small blue pearl, to represent her firstborn girl and infant son - then my older sis got prego and i had one made for her with one large white pearl- before we knew the sex of the baby.

mom requested it - so who was i to say no?

I made massage candles in really unique containers for my mom and mother in law. My mom got a gardenia and lavender scent, and mother in law got a Chanel no. 5 scented candle. I also made each of them a grapefruit, lemongrass and rosemary scented massage candle.

I gave my mom some Cake products and she loved them! I'm really glad I decided to give her some "Cake." We had pizza and pop and we just hung out at her house. It was really nice.
