Mona 2 Sound Question

Contributor: PropertyOfPotter PropertyOfPotter
I've done some scanning, though not much, but I can't find an answer to my question.

On the lower settings, my Mona 2 makes a chattering sound, but immediately stops when you increase the power level. Is this normal, or is something wrong with the one I received?

The sound is loud enough to be heard from a few feet away, and I'm wondering if it's defective or if it's a normal sound. Any feedback is appreciated!

I am yet to receive my Mona 2, but I have definitely seen some comments about it rattling. Here is one below, but there should be more if you look around.

Hi PropertyOfPotter,

We're sorry to hear about your MONA 2. All LELO products are checked for sound (db) during the production process, and we require all products to operate below 50 db.

One key question is whether this sound has developed over time, or was it always there? Was the unit ever dropped? If yes, on what kind of floor was it dropped on? Carpet, wood, or tiles?

If this sound is getting louder even while on higher settings -- without it being dropped -- we would suggest you contact LELO Customer Care at customercare@lelo.com for further information regarding this issue.

Hopefully we can get this resolved as soon as possible.

It hasn't been dropped since I've owned it, and it's only loud and rattling on the lower settings. The rattling stops on the more powerful settings. I just wasn't sure if this was normal or if I should be concerned.

Mine does the exact same thing! Has done it since I took it out of the package.

I've had my Mona 2 for two months and it doesn't chatter on the lower settings.

Had no idea Lelo had a maximum sound requirement. 50db is very quiet, and an admirable level to shoot for.

So, it seems as though I should get a replacement?
