When you have a question about the site (such as when an item will be back in stock, when you're having a problem with your order, etc.), send in a support ticket. Support tickets are sent to the staff that run this site and even if the person who receives the ticket does not know the answer, they will ask someone who does and give you your answer fairly quickly (provided that it's not the weekend because everyone needs a break). I've asked about item stockage many times before and whomever receives it asks their stock manager for me and gives me my answer usually later that day or the next day. You can submit a support ticket here.

You can always set an alert on a product for when it comes back in stock. You'll get an email when it arrives.

Thanks for your replies guys. I was always wondering where to ask about "out of stock items" since this option is not mentioned in the support tickets section (maybe "general enquiry"). Maybe some approximate information displayed next to "out of stock" would help a bit. (Something like "expected availability - 1 month, or exp. av. 2-3 weeks, or exp. av. unknown, etc.). Maybe I will post this to suggestions as well.

Thanks for the info Maxim!
