Rechargeable batteries in OhMyBod????

I just got my Naughtibod today (wooohoooo!!) and inside the battery compartment is a paper that says do not use rechargeable batteries. Never seen this before??? Any ideas why this would be a problem?? Is it really dangerous to the toy to use them??

I've seen it in quite a few toys. I think it has something to do with the voltage of a rechargeable being less than an alkaline battery, so it might not run as well as with a non-rechargeable.
