If a product is discontinued here does that mean pipe dream stopped making the product all together or they just stopped offering it here?

It depends. To be honest sometimes yes and sometimes no. You can search on Google to find out if something is being let go by the manufacturer or if it's just being let go by us.

If a product has just been discontinued by Eden, does that mean there's no chance of it coming back in stock? I've been pleasantly surprised in the past to see how quickly out of stock items reappeared, but the discontinued items don't even have the "set alert when back in stock" option. I'd rather hold out and wait to purchase the toys I want through Eden, but if they're never coming back ... then I'll have to search elsewhere. And just find other things to get here. =p

Sometimes things show up as discontinued when they're not. I'm not sure of the rhyme or reason but the Shunga bath salts are a great example. When I wrote my review for them they showed as discontinued, but now both scents are back in stock. If it's something you're really wanting, you can always submit a support ticket and they can give you a definitive answer as to whether or not something is completely discontinued or if it'll be back at some point.

My experience with out of stock items is the opposite---unless there is a super in demand item they don't come back in stock very quickly.

I think things being marked as discontinued/out of stock is a bug that Eden still has to work on; sometimes things get marked wrong.
