Alumina Line: Is it worth it to interchange the segments with one another?

If I buy all of them, for instance, I don't see the point of disassembling and combining different ones. Maybe if they give me the option to buy only half of each toy.

I don't care for it, it creates a seam in all of the toys for something that isn't that exciting, especially if you only plan on buying ONE of the toys. if you could buy just half, that would be neat, so you could actually customize a toy for yourself. But, just a seam in my toy that doesn't serve a purpose to me, that's not so fun.
