Filling in the gap in tantus plug sizes...?

Contributor: Red Red
Question:

OK, I have this strange love affair going on with the Tex plug. Often, he's beyond my reach, but sometimes, when I have hours to spend, he and I get along.

The biggest problem is that I have no toys bridging the gap from the width of the A Bomb (and Ringo, which is a good warm-up to the A Bomb) to the width of the Tex. And a look around on the Tantus website leads me to believe that you have no plugs that could be used to warm up to Tex.

So any plans for filling that gap? Or did I miss something obvious?

First off, Red, you just became my hero. You have quite the control over your sphincter.
You know, I don't see anything among the Tantus plugs between 2.5" and 3" diameters either, so I guess Tantus doesn't have something to fill in the gap. The Cowboy fits in there, but it is so long that I don't know where you would put the end of that thing to get down to the big diameter which isn't really what one wants when looking for a butt plug.
There are options in that area if you step to less safe materials, but I don't think that's what you are looking for either.
Sorry, but I wasn't able to locate a suitable alternative for you. There must be one out there, but my brief search didn't bring it up.

I've also noticed that there is generally a "break" in maximum sizes between ~1.5" and ~2", at least in silicone plugs.

The lack of a nicely tapered larger (over 2.5") silicone plug is a bit more of an issue, though, because you can use a tapered 2" (such as the Ringo) to "fill the gap" provided you have the self control to not shove it in too rapidly, and the persistence to keep coming back.

@Jimbo Honestly, it's just ass loads of practice I have been eyeing the cowboy, but as you state, there's the additional length challenge with that product. I'd be happy with a long plug with a gradual taper, but that one is CRAZY long. As an aside, I would love to see a review of the Cowboy by someone who's been able to make it to the bottom. *ahem*

@ScottA You are totally right, there are not enough plugs that hit 1.75 with a nice taper, that are made of something non porous. I just got a Bronco, and putting Bronco and Ringo side by side it looks like there's a step missing between the two, a "medium" if you will.

I know that the big anal toy market isn't exactly big - but it's hard to find options made of good quality materials...

So you might also be looking for something between the Bronco and Ringo as well?
That might be more feasible. I think the Tulip Royal, the Cody and the Severin Medium all fit in between the Bronco and the Ringo but they aren't exactly the same shape.

No, that gap is not an issue for me, the Ringo covers that range well. I used to really wish I could find a silicone plug in 1.75" diamerter.

Tantus! make me a taper that bridges the a bomb and the Tex, and I will sing your praises till I am hoarse

Sounds like a great idea... I'll bring it up today with our design team. We've been meaning to make a Tex Jr too.

Look at that, Metis is listening. Where else but EdenFantasys could you bend the ear of an industry mover and shaker? I suppose we could have e-mailed Metis as well.
Red, maybe you should clarify exactly the dimensions you are looking for. According to EdenFantasys The A-bomb rings in at 2.25" diameter while the Tex comes in at 3" diameter. Splitting the difference is 2 5/8". Is anything between 2.5" and 2.75" good for you, Red?

I figured I would used this fancy new Eden Link for the novelty of it

Hmm, it's a big gap, so seeing a taper or something graduated that goes up to 3 would be awesome, but I'm not sure what that might look like or if it would work well.

So barring that, something at a 2.5 to 2.75" diameter would be great. Actually, if both a 2.5" and 2.75" diameter plug existed, I would probably invest in both.

and OMG Tex jr! I'm already in love...

Count me in as a potential customer for Tex jr.

While I can handle the full length of the Cowboy, I am simply not ready for the width of Tex.

So what's the status of the Tex Jr? I could get in on that too!

The Mr. Universe (which is unfortunately NOT carried by Eden, but is available elsewhere) graduates from ~2.5" to 3.0" tip to base - ~6.0" insertable

I will probably be getting one soon, though I am already a very happy Tex user. I'd like something a bit more "thrustable"

Sounds interesting, and possibly fun. The Tex just gets fat too quickly for me.

Interesting point you have there

If Eden carried the Mr. Universe I would buy it in a heartbeat. I have both Tex and Cowboy and as much as I want to, I can almost never use Tex. I have the same problem as Red: the lack of a middle size between Tex and my smaller plugs means I can't do much without devoting a huge amount of time to just relaxing and stretching. If there were a toy in the 2.5-2.75 range I would be thrilled to add it to my collection.
