I just noticed on my public profile that it was leaving a notice every time I added a lure to something. I didn't realize it did that. I just use my wish lists for personal organization & prioritization of purchases, mostly. I thought the lures were just like stars on most sites' wishlists for that sort of thing.

So A)I'm spamming my profile & B)I'd like to choose when & how to share information about myself. I'm fine with reviews & postings & whatnot - I'm not actually that shy, but for some reason, having my personal shopping ratings & whatnot publicized from a list marked "private" kinda bugs me. If I wanted to share the information I would.

Can I prevent this by just not using lures? Or is there some way to make that information not go to my profile? And is there any way to get rid of the ones that are already there?

Not using lures will prevent that, rating a product also shows on your wall and the walls of people following you. The ones that are already there will cycle off in a matter of time depending on how much activity is going on with the people you're following.

Ah, thank you very much. I felt like a doofus when I saw the huge list posted there. I tend to make like 200 things with a quick glance & then rate & sort through. I must have appeared *very* excited about my shopping!
Thanks for the help. Still getting caught up on the little website quirks & such.

Aw, no need to feel like a dufus around here. I know that I don't pay much attention when people have rated stuff or added lures. I just kind of always assumed nobody else paid attention either. If you need anything else don't hesitate to send me a message or post on my wall, I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have. And so would just about anyone else on here.

Exactly. I really don't pay attention to other people's lure ratings, either. I, at times, will see an item and go, "Oh, I think I like that." But, I rarely remember who set the lure.

Most of us don't go around looking at lures thinking, "Damn, that woman sure likes butt plugs!"

LoL - I was taking a drink of soda when I read that and spit it all over my monitor. Admit it, P'Gell! I know you ran off to look at my lures! (Just glad I didn't put any on the DVDs. .)

Appreciate everyone being so nice. I'm playing sex-toy catch-up here & still figuring out my comfort level a bit.
