I'll sound like one of those annoying computer tech guys "is the computer on? is it plugged in?" LOL
But did you happen to check your alerts page and make sure that they didn't some how clear out? You could've accidentally cleared your alerts, or perhaps there was a glitch that did it. That would be my first step.
After that, I'm not sure
