can someone from EF just make a simple announcement outlining what has been decided upon.
Gift cards generated from points can only be used under account that generated them.

You can create a gift card from your points for any amount up to the amount you have. So if you have the $60 worth of points, you can make a $60 gift card from them and it will be one single card, and that gift card can only be used on your account. If you don't spend all of it, then you can just keep applying it to future purchases until it's gone. If you wanted you could make smaller gift cards from your points by specifying how much you wanted to use, it's still just limited to your account.

If you were to get a gift card from graduating a student, winning/hosting a Rumble/Roundup, submitting a piece to Eden Cafe or Eden Lit, completing a video review, or any of the other ways we award gift cards, you'll have the option to save them as you see fit, and then you can use all of those in one purchase too.

Question... What about gift codes converted from accounts before the rule changed. For example, a friend gave me her points a little while before the rule changed, since I added her stuff to my last order. I haven't used that code, am I no longer able to?

Correct, it is now locked to the account that generated it.

Pretty sure that you can add gift cards to your wish list and have them purchase one or two for the general amount that was due to you though. Then you would get a hard copy of the gift card instead of the code.

I think....

I missed this thread until now...how did just three people get $5,000 in points? That's astounding. I was just reading a thread on point farming and mentioned some of the things people do to farm. I've also been wondering about severely "mystery" people who have left slightly negative ratings on reviews (not that that's a problem if they're genuine) but looking at their profiles shows that none have added any information about themselves, have not written any reviews, and yet have page after page of "My favorite products" on their "About Me" page.

I think that locking points to the account that created them is a good thing (I'm surprised it wasn't set up that way before). I'm still amazed that three orders of $5,000 was filled though.

I'd totally love to share how some of them did it, but then I'd be telling people how to exploit the system. Trust me though, it was totally possible.

So, I've been thinking about making a gift card from points, but I wanted to clarify something, we can still stack points GC's as long as they are from our account, correct?

Yes. You can use as many gift cards generated from your account points on an order from your account.

And to double check we can also stack the gift cards we receive through eden cafe and contests to our order?

I'm thinking of using my points and a gift card from eden cafe.

Correct. You can stack earned gift cards, and even cards made from points so long as the points cards were created on your own account.

There should have been some sort of warning to this change. A whole bunch of my friends gave me a few bucks that they earned with the eden points program to chip in for a present for my boyfriends birthday. But now I can't use them and I had to pay the same ammount anyway and their kindness was all for nothing now because the rules just changed with no warning at all. I get the problem and I understand, but it seems a little sudden.

Please forgive my laziness. My question has probably been answered before, but, well, I be lazy . And I'm off out in a minute, so wouldn't have the time to read this thread fully if I had the inclination!

Okay, so I have a few dollars left over on two previous gift cards, which are bugging the hell out of me. They're in that little dashboard thing, looking at me and going, 'mwahahaha! You can't use us' *dances evilly*. I don't know how they dance evilly. I think they dance to the la cucaracha.

Ahem. Sorry. Sidetracked. Is it possible to use the gift card I'm currently working on as well as the other gift cards - on one order? (I was hoping to order the Uma for my girl, for Valentines Day (I accidentally left it a bit late - eep! So I guess this toy will be penance for missing it.))

Again, sorry, and thank you for any help you offer!

This is a bit confusing. I have been away for a few weeks and need to see how this affects me.

At this point, it shouldn't affect you. This is an older thread, meant to update people as changes were happening. At this point, you can stack gift cards as long as any cards created from points were created on your account.

$1400? $5000??? Who has time to use that many toys?? I have a toy backlog already, spending about $150 per month for the past 2 months. They must not have kids!! (I realize they must be re-selling items, but it just struck me as funny, thinking how would I use that many toys??)

I had $200 in gift cards and cashed out. I plan on saving all my gift cards once graduating new students and assignments etc points and if I get to my goal, it'll be at least 1400 in points. I have been trying to not make less than $100 order bc I make decent commission the higher amount i spend, but i have never spent a dime out of pocket or by debit card on here; all of my orders are from gift cards and video reviews points i earn. I have NO issues using 5 - 6 gift cards on here to order. The only issue is my sister doesnt use her acct and said i can have her remaining points but it wont let me use the GC so i cant. but other than that, u can use as many as u want on here. And yes it's easy to save up a lot of gift cards, i did. I am back to square 1 bc of using up my balance for big order awhile back. I wont be spending points for long while so i can save up.

I agree, that definitely couldn't have been a regular person.

Well If I can't use more than one gift card I won't be purchasing much in the future. Eden points is the only way I was able to get some items. I lost my job and live on social security. I guess an old person like me doesn't need sex toys anyway. I haven't been with Eden Fantasys very long and it looks like my days here will be numbered. Any left over points from a GC purchase might be left over forever at that rate. I need to get the cost down to where I can afford it. Guess I won't be doing much here. Stick with Amazon or Ebay I guess.
