Gift Card Update - Please Read

WOW! That sucks! 5000 bucks!!!! Argggh I hate that people are doing something to mess the rest of us up. But I have faith in Eden that ya'll will get it fixed.

I completely understand that EF needs to protect themselves from thieves. I understand why they had to put a moratorium on multiple gift card redemptions. EF is a business and has to make a profit to stay in business and provide us the wonderful EF Community that we all know and love.

I'm just glad that I didn't get stuck waiting while they were working on a solution, and I am sorry for those who will have to wait to place their "big" order until things have been worked out. I am sure that they will be worked out, and that EF will continue to be the fantastic place that it is. I just tend to get upset ridiculously easily and am glad that things worked out so that I wasn't caught in the moratorium.

I absolutely adore EdenFantasys and fully support them in trying to prevent abuse of their generous system.

I understand, but having to wait a week or so isn't the end-all be-all in problems, yanno? As gracious as they are, patient when we have life things that makes us late with reviews, willing to be so generous... the least we can do is be a little patient when something like this comes up.

Like I said, I was frustrated and confused and ready to be upset before when there wasn't any sort of resolution. Now there is a resolution, a rather quick one, if you ask me, and I think the least we can do is be a little patient while they implement it.

And if you ABSOLUTELY NEED to order something so badly before the change takes place, you can email JR or Gary and say, "hey, I have this code in GC, and this one, and this one? Can you cancel those and send me one for a larger sum so I can use it?" As long as they're not flooded with requests, I'm sure they'll be happy to accommodate.

You all would be surprised at the amount of responsibility and duties that EF staffers have and how much they do to make this place work. I barely can fathom it and I work closely with several staffers.

I'm assuming that gift cards that have already been generated will work once we can stack cards again. This all seems to be a "From here on out" type of resolution that will not impact past generated GCs.

You can still use one gift card per order, so just apply it with your account points next time you order.

I just can't wrap my head around why someone would even feel the need to do this. There are so many perks and freebies at Eden, I can't imagine why anyone would feel the need to be more greedy. Why steal something you can get for free???!

I just flag all the posts I see as spam. That's what I have resorted to because I don't feel like all of our bitching, though helpful to us, is really proactive in getting them to stop.

Do you know how many times Social Media Ambassadors have directly chatted with Kristi about spammers we see? It's not just staffers looking out for them. Just let JR or Kristi know.

I agree, I just used 4 giftcards that I won from different clubs in the past month and it would be horrible if I could no longer use more than one of them at a time.

thats a great idea! It would be easier on all of us and still provide the same solution to point farming.

I don't know what I would do without having the ability to stack the gift cards I win or earn from things other than points.

I do let them know as well but I find it easier to flag a post as spam than email those 2 constantly over a smiley here and there.

I consider myself very active and I haven't earned anywhere near $500 let alone $1400!

yay! I like this solution, it is very similar to another forum I was part of (not sex toy related) that gave points, the points totaled in your account and you could choose to redeem as many as you wanted and still use your giftcards

Here's the the reason I said that:

Eden is super-awesome-extra-ph enomenally generous! In 10 months here I have rarely paid out of pocket for anything. Really? Only at the beginning. We are spoiled. They have been so amazing.... The very least we can do is take a deep breath and realize that they're simply asking for our patience and our understanding; which they have more than earned.

I also agree with making the reviewer program harder to get into, mandatory mentoring perhaps? I also do not like the voting system being so open to applicants, there should absolutely be a limit
