Feature suggestion: Payouts to Payoneer prepaid MasterCard

Howells Howells
I'm part of another (non sex related) online marketplace which partnered up with payoneer and pay me via a deposit to a prepaid MasterCard (accepted at shops and ATM's worldwide). I think it's the most convenient form of getting paid, ever - much better than paypal.

You can only get a payoneer card if you are a member of one of its partners. Eden could become one as well. Not sure who to tell this idea so I thought I'd share it here, someone from the upper circles will see it and can think about it possibly.

For those that make more than just a few dollars with the Affiliate Program, this could be an awesome payment solution. But I'm not sure how popular is the program and how many payouts are processed each month. From EF's point of view, it's essentially a global mass payout solution, just like paypal but I believe the fees are better! OK, EF sends it via paypal in a way that we pay the fee, not the company. With some companies it's the other way around. Anyway I think it's worth a look nonetheless because administrative processing costs may still be cut regardless of who pays the fee. Not to mention EF would get to have a custom branded bank card in their successful affiliates' hands that would further strengthen the massive social advertising (friend recommendations and social influence) that's happening around here

Link to payoneer.

I think that's a really cool idea! I do have a card from Paypal, which so far I've only used for online stores, but it may let me use it at other locations, as it has the same info as a mastercard or something.

Sure but paypal only offers the cards to US clients, plus they limit the daily spending or ATM limit to $400-ish. While with payoneer you can get a card from just about anywhere in the world, and the daily limit is $5000 split into two: $2500 ATM and $2500 PoS (online or at a shop). Furthermore, there are some countries where paypal can't be used to receive money, perhaps India. Ok, the majority of the people here is from the US, but it's always good to grow and not let things like paypal's policies limit the expansion.

Ah, see I didn't realize that they only allowed the cards for US clients, I thought it was everywhere.

I do agree, that even if most of the users are from the US there should be some type of expansion. Bummer about paypal, I fully agree with the use of other types of cards!

Rockin' Rockin'
Thank you for the payment method suggestion. I especially appreciate the explanation for the suggestion. I'll look into the Payoneer system and will consider it for future program updates.
