I check my reports periodically to see if I've made any money. I'm still kind of new to this affiliate thing and I haven't gotten but a few hits on my links with no actual sales...until now! Someone used my code on a $108.00 purchase so I got $5.40. It's not a lot but I was really excited since it was the first time my sales pitches actually worked.

Tell me about your first times! Did you make a lot? A little? How excited were you? And if anyone has any good advice on how to succeed in the affiliate program, I'd really appreciate it!

Oh yes, at the beginning it starts slow, and it gets better, but you need to keep being active and promote your code and/or links.

I have a blog and the only place I give out my affiliate code is on my EF profile, the rest of my commissions are through click-through-links purchases, so a 108$ sale for me now give me slightly more than 20$. They're not that frequent though, but they DO add up, and I think they make up for all the 5% commissions I could have done out there.

Some times, I'll see that someone used my code, and I'll smile knowing they've been on my profile. Hehehe.

It is a great feeling isn't it? I haven't gotten a ton of sales, but I have gotten a few and I still get really excited when it happens.

I have gotten a few, around 35.00 worth, it sure makes me feel great when I order something and use these instead of my credit card!!

Yay!! Around next month I want my blog to be up and active enough for the affiliate program where I can promote my code : ) Before I was a reviewer on here I just bought things and I would use whatever discount code I found first so I think the whole idea is awesome!

@ Kynky Kytty: I also have my code on my EdenFantasys account. In addition to that, I have my code in the description of my blog and I put up links in posts every now and then. I have the code because I'm worried that if I don't, I won't make any sales at all. But maybe the risk is worth the reward?

i have gotten 2 checks from EF so far. 1 for $63.02 and 1 for $51.03 or so. i'm stuck at 27 right now grr. but i found out u can use your own banner or coupon code when u place an order, so try that along with passing it a long. i wish i had a lot more ppl using my banner, because you get 20% of the sale that way as if they only use coupon code u get 5%.

I'm gonna add more reviews to my blog to get more traffic again.
