#AskEden - products showing up under 'Available to review' aren't REALLY available to review

Contributor: Ryuson Ryuson
Since the switch over has happened I've actually been having this happen more frequently in two ways. The first is the most common, and that is where something shows up as available to review but then won't let me request it because it's out of stock. If it's out of stock isn't it NOT available to review?

Secondly, I've been having things turn up on my 'Available to review list" that then give me the "This has more than 3 reviews! You can not has" error. Again, then WHY IS IT ON THE LIST?!

Is there some way to get around this? Am I missing something? If it's on that list but won't let me request it do I have to harass JR and get him to assign it?

EDIT: I just wanted to add that I've had the 'out of stock' error on ones that did NOT have the grayed out button.

I've noticed that a lot of the "Available" list have multiple reviews on them. I've been curious as to why they're on there.

I noticed this also, it made me a bit sad because I really did want to review several of them.

I too haven't been able to find anything for an assignment for more than a week. The peacock outfit is out of stock but it is at the top of my list. I thought that the lists would only contain products that needed reviews and that is not the case in what I see on my screen.

The on-site list doesn't update in real time, so it's possible that a product could show as in stock when it's not.

I think that's the source of both errors.

How long does it take for it to update? I've noticed that the peacock one has been like that for a few days now. Just for future reference!

Yes actually the peacock out fit has been there since the 5th, that was the day that I started looking for an assignment! I'm not liking that answer. I check them every single day since I have become available and I have only found one item and then the admin cancelled the assignment. I am pretty much discouraged!!

In the 'product search' you can narrow it down by 'available to review!' Here's the link if that's what you were asking for: link
