I just mailed in my first article for EdenCafe. I'm so nervous about getting a response! I worked for days on my just over 800-word article, and did tons of research! My husband got tired of hearing me read it to him! Do they deny articles often? I think my topic was a good one, but I'm not sure they will think so. I guess I'm just overly anxious! How long does it take to hear usually?

It takes 3-5 days to hear back from them - I've submitted something like 6 or 7 articles and only had one denied because of the word account and her budget that month (it was a longer article).
They're great about getting back to you and you get paid within a few days even if your article doesn't publish for a few weeks.
