Hey there,
With the wonderful help from Sam a.k.a. Jul!a, I finally learned how to get photos up here on EF! Yippee! So, I wanted to ask you pet owners to share your pet photos here. I love pets and want to see yours! If you want, post them here. I'll post a couple (yes, I'm happy to be able to put up photos now!)

Also, I wanted to know if any of you have ever entered your pets in a photo contest? I know it might sound lame, but I entered my cat Fuzz into the Great American Pet Photo contest a few months back. I just thought it'd be kind of fun.

Oh my FREAKING GOSH I love animals! Well, it is time for me to link my little lifesaver Aspen and my demonic Russian Dwarf Hamster Biggie!

I got Aspen a year ago from a lovely lady in my city. It was during a very dark time in my life when my health literally made me think about wanting to die since I was tired of all the pain. Aspen just lit a spark within me and she's shown me so much love, that I just can't possibly die and leave her behind. We are very close, and she is definitely my best little pal. She is a Pomeranian and Chihuahua mix. I used to have a chow chow that died from stomach cancer, so it was hard for me to move on to get another pet dog after that. I literally grew up with my chow chow Bear. May she rest in peace.



As for Biggie, well, I bought him and his brother Tupac last year lol. Their names were appropriate since they, indeed, fought all of the time. Unfortunately, Tupac died (he was older than Biggie), but Biggie tried to conceal his body and actually ATE parts of him and buried him under the damn Igloo in their cage! What's even scarier, Tupac the Hamster died on the exact same day as Tupac the Rapper...It scared the bejesus out of me!

OMG Peggi! Those are the most adorable pets! Very nice fishtank, beautiful dog and I'm totally in love with the kitties! How beautiful! I love the little red one. He's colored like my Fuzz. I'm so glad you shared your photos. They are too adorable!

Wow, she's a girl! How cool! My Fuzz is a girl and I've noticed it's kind of rare to have the redish orange cats not be males. I've had 10 red/orange males! Lol. I've only came across 2 female orange/red cats and they were my 2 cats. I hear people say it's impossible to have a female orange cat and impossible to find a calico male. Strange. I know the red cats can be both female or male (since you have a female and I've had 2 that were female) But I've never seen a male calico. Lol

Your babies are beautiful as well!!! I just love pets! They are so cute and give so much love!

When I took a picture of my orange cat into work (which is still on my desk) you wouldn't believe how many people were shocked when they would ask what the cat's name is and I'd give them a female name! You're right, it's very rare for an orange cat to be female! Fuzz and Hannah are special

All of our pets have been rescued and they are all so sweet and make such wonderful friends and family!

And you're right, I never noticed it before but I've never EVER seen a male calico either Hmm less

Oh I had a hamster just like Hubert when I was young. And I just had a few memories back. Thanks for that.

Oh my gosh! How cute! You have a hamster too? AW! I love my little Hubert Hamster. They're such fun and entertaining pets. Makes me wonder why so many people hate them. You hamster is so cute! The others are too. I'm so sorry to hear about your dog who had stomach cancer and for Tupac That is SUCH a hard thing to go through, losing your pets. When they're like your babies it's devastating. Love the names of your pets and how awesome that your little dog gave you some strength and happiness in such a horrible time! That's such a nice story.

That is pretty scary how your Tupac and hamster! I would've been panicking. Lol

I'm so glad you shared this! I love seeing everyone's pets and hearing about them.

By the way, how does your dog and hamster act towards each other? Does your dog sniff the hamster and get excited when he's out of the cage? My dog Pookie loves my Hubert Hamster! I don't let him get close, but he gets really happy when I've got Hubert out. Lol. It's strange he's always kind of fathered our other pets. He always carries the baby kittens we've had in his mouth and treats them like a mother cat would! He's a freak. Lol. The cats don't really mind Hubert. I'm sure they'd love him as a snack (a hamster nugget!) but they don't bother him except Kallesie. She tried getting to his cage. Scary! Lol less

Man, I have been seriously sick after getting this damn cyst removed, but I wanted to respond to this now that my internet is working!

Yep! I have Biggie still and he is pretty entertaining. I know a lot of people that hate them too. A friend of mine had a really vicious one that actually turned me off to hamsters, but I wanted to get a little caged critter for a pet anyway. I couldn't resist the adorable tiny Russian Dwarf Hamsters! Yeah, I still find myself really sad since I grew up with my dog Bear and I hated to have to see her suffer with such a horrible illness. I miss Tupac too since he really didn't deserve to go the way he did My little Aspen sure did help me out! She's beginning to get a little Hitler moustache now lol.

Actually Aspen is TERRIFIED of my hamster! Seriously, she will fight you just to get away from him. He calmly approaches her and tries to sniff at her but she just runs away and hides LOL. I always tell my parents that Biggie threatens her by saying stuff like, "You're gonna wind up swimmin' with the fishes like my brother 'Pac. Yeah, I'm talkin' to ya, mutt." I used to hate cats since I've always encountered douchebag kitties, but I kind of like them now. The only problem is that I'm severely allergic so there's no way in the world I can get one : (. My sister had a Russian Blue and I loved the Hell out of that kitty. It was the cat that caused me to actually like them more, but my sister moved away and I still don't know what that idiot did with the cat.

I also wanted to say that you have some CUTE pets! Hubert is simply adorable! less
